Official Price info has been a complete mess over the past few weeks. Check if according to PbtH prices it did start at the lowest price. But I will double check if there is an issue in the flow card.
With the settings above I expect that BTW is calculated for both meaning the sum of Tax + Tibber uplift. Meaning Bruto price = (EPEX price + Tibber Uplift + Tax) * 1.21. At least, this is how it is calculated in other pricing apps…..
For the cards I use of PBTH in my flows it doesn’t matter, but when I want to calculate with the costs I get wrong results. Hint: When I started using PBTH it was correct.
Settings from which device?
What is nr 3? NL?
Tibber is hours-price?
Nr4 is related to 15_mins en not 60_mins
(9 + 11) * 1,21 = 24
You can keep expecting. Or you can fix your issue![]()
hmmm strange reaction … i post this message because I can’t solve it as I added the correct settings, same as in other applications, but in PBTH it’s calculated wrong according to my view. Just asking if for others it calculated correctly and if yes, how are your settings in the form I published above.
My answer was to help you fix your problem. But you seem not interested in a solution. So if you do not like how my app works, you are free to remove the app. If you do find it useful, a donation is always a nice way to show appreciation for my work..
so I only get support when I donate? ok, know enough. Good luck.
Well, that is not what I said. And you did get support (in fact I am quite confident my suggested solution works). But you chose not to follow my solution.
Enough said. Peace on earth ![]()

v8.6.4 is released as stable: Power by the Hour | Homey
- Fix flow cards race conditions.
- Improved SolarForecaster.
- Code refactoring.
I found possible race condition issues with flow cards (Thx @Ria_Banis for the detailed info).
Have fun!
Please test with the new version. Also I saw you are using the trigger card ‘price has changed’. It is more robust to use the trigger card ‘new price period starts’. That card will also run when the price happens to stay exactly the same.
Can you give more details how to use the solarforecaster? And how to set it up?
Not yet. Work in Progress. See post: [APP][Pro] Power by the Hour: Insights per hour, day, month and year - #3604 by Gruijter
This looks really nice, and the predictions are quite accurate.
Wondering how good it works with cloudy Weather. Will test.
The bars were from the PbtH forecaster. The line is the real solar yield.
My Sessy battery was charging until around 14:45 because it was full. Immediately the voltage at my solar inverter became too high, and my inverter just stopped. After some time it retried to startup again several times, but it wasnt until 16:30 the voltage was low enough to keep the inverter working.
Waste of solar energy that I want to prevent by smarter battery charging.
your curve is way smoother, with mine there is more gap. Does it needs to learn/calibrate?
What is the distribution curve? The amount of kwh over time?

Just wait till I’m done.
Each day at 20:01 this flow is started.
The last few weeks sometimes (last thursday and yesterday) the graphic looks like this.
Is something going wrong?
Either pbth did not have any prices, or something went wrong creating the graph. Were there prices available for tomorrow at 20:01? Did PBTH show tomorrows highest and lowest price at that time?
