[APP][Pro] Power by the Hour: Insights per hour, day, month and year

I did that, and it’s correct. I’ve also adjusted the markup so that the price of the current hour is correct, but then the future hours are completely out of alignment.

You assume PbtH is wrong. But when it is a NL provider, and my Frank energy is good, and Zonneplan is good, then your provider must be messing up.

You can check the official base prices on entsoe transparency platform and manually calculate what the sales prices should be. If it doesnt match what your provider states in their app, ask them why there is a difference.

I don’t know what’s wrong. PBTH worked flawlessly for two years.
On January 1st of this year, I adjusted the fixed price markup to the new energy tax. That went well, and the prices were correct. But since last week, something’s been wrong. Perhaps someone can help me get it working again.

I also have zonneplan as provider, just like Robkrekel. I entered the same data into the PBTH. The strange thing is that he get the right prices, and I don’t.

Could it be a conflict with HomeyPro, or is that a separate issue? I can try restarting Homey later.

The energy prices have been a big mess the past weeks throughout Europe. That is also why Homey itself has had issues with prices. So it could be your Homey simply got a different price because it fetched the prices at the wrong moment. Case of bad luck. When you are on the latest PbtH version all you have to do is wait another day. New round, new chances.

Thanks for the feedback. Geduld is een schone zaak.
I’ll give it another few days to see what happens.

This issue is happening all the time.

What I would like to have:

I want to heat the water on the cheapest hour before 8:00. I created this flow below. I’m open for changes.

The case happened last Tuesday.

Version: 8.6.3 Bug number: 785da0b0-3380-4e0f-be3c-c9d55a28eadb

Energy was cheapest at 02:00. The device went on at 23h.

Could someone take a look at it? I think its an issue

I have the same with zonneplan and its since the last week. They where good since the last weeks. Now the prices are not correcting with zonneplan. I have the latest app version also and waiting a day makes no difference

Confirm this

I thinks it’s the markup. With or without btw makes a differance. Zonneplan always communicates inclucing btw, in pbth we have to fill in the markup ex btw. So markup/1.21 = ex btw, for Zonneplan €0,02200/1.21= 0,0181818181818182.

@Gruijter hi Robin, I have a question. Right now (15:40) I see following prices in pbth

The first one says that the price at 16:00 will be 0.2091 until 17:00. The second one says the price is 0.2091 from 16:00 - 16:15. They are exactly the same which looks a bit odd to me. I would expect the hour price to be an average and not exactly the quarter price of the first quarter of an hour. It’s no coincidence. I checked it a couple of times today and it’s always the case.

With 15min DAP, is there a way to test for the highest rate in the hour?

What I’m looking for is to be able to turn off some heatings when the current 15 min is the highest of the hour.

Condition: The price is one of number lowest/highest in the next period hours.
has a limit for period for minimum 6 hours.

And does that period hour start from H:00:00 and end at H:59:59?

Hi,

Since today(?) the prices of 1 hr and 15 minutes devices are showing same value:

The price shown is 12 - 12.15 hrs price (= same price app of my energy supplier reports) and it seems 15 min price is correct; it also changes at 12.15 hrs and shows correct price other 15 min intervals.

1hr (average?!) price is incorrect, as other 15 min prices between 12.15 and 13 hrs are lower and average should also be lower.

Here an issue with the 1h prices.

Today (Monday) 20260302 the prices are very different in the Homey app as in comparison with the real 1h price.

That the price is different is fine, however I do care about when the cheapest hour is.

In this case the cheapest hour is at 12:00, however homey is saying that its at 14:00. Thats a 2h difference

Screenshots from the sources:

Yeah, I have the same. Problem is, it seems noone knows which one is true. The official sites from Entsoe and Noordpool both have no prices for NL for today. So you could ask your provider why they think their prices are correct. Better yet, by the time they send the bill, trippel check what prices they used for today.

Thanks for the reply

I checked both zonneplan and tibber. Those known images where already in the screenshots for today. The last one is tenergy. Pretty much all of them have the same data.

What source is normally used? Always Entsoe and Noordpool?

Here the same problem

Can somebody in NL support me please getting the total prices correct having Tibber as Energy supplier. I’ve added fixed costs of 0,11208 (Tax + Tibber uplift) and 21% Tax. Although the basic prices in PBTH are correct I do not get to the correct prices including tax and uplift. Thanks.

As you can see below the PBTH hour price differs from the real Tibber hour price

this flow did not start at 11:00 And that was the start of the four lowest hours.

What did I do wrong?

Did you maybe forget to add 21% BTW over the uplift?
