Hmm I Can’t replicate it since I also have load balancing but it just drops the charging speed. It doesnt stop for me.
Im also not sure what you did with the Homey Script but “Pausing” the chargers sets the power to be below 6000W so its stops charging.
Then by enabling it it jumps back up.
It stops because of house hold limit (capacity tarif in Belgium), I’ll make a workaround throug a flow, every 5 min’s when not loading, cable is plugged in and current power is below “treshold” → start loading
Hi Kyle, Peblar issued an update with an extra chargemode ‘Aangepast zonneladen’ with two inputs ‘Netvermogendoel’ and ‘Start/stop vermogensdrempel’ and one boolean ‘Alwys charge’. Do you have plans to integrate this chargemode into the app? Would love to see it!
Apparently at HA, they are able to integrate the RFID party where they can manage and let vehicles autocharge, is your app based on the same code as HA? This is part of an HA system update
Manage RFID cards from the app settings: list, add and delete cards
New Flow cards to add/remove cards and to remotely present a registered card (authorizes an unauthorized session or stops an authorized one)
New trigger “charging authorized” with the card UID, card name and session number
Fix: phase current (L1/L2/L3) was showing milliamps as amps
This has only been tested against mocks so far, so I’d love to hear how it works on your charger, especially remote presenting and the authorization trigger. Please share any issues here!
Custom Solar is now a selectable smart charging mode in the device, the Flow cards and the widget
New Flow action “Configure Custom Solar” to set always-charge, power target (W) and power threshold (W)
The same Custom Solar settings per charger in the app settings
This requires firmware 1.10 or newer and a charger with solar support. It hasn’t been tested on a real charger yet, so please let me know how it works for you!
I wont try it, since my Homey EMS does a better job anyway but I was afraid teh new mode could break the code so I waited for it to be supported with updating my firmware
It seems the app does not detect that as it displays a Peblar Tag and it seems I’m able to remove and present it.
(I had the Peblar unmanaged tag configured before switching to managed mode, when switching I reset the charger so I’m a bit surprised to see the tag is still known to my charger)
Is there detection for using the Peblar in Managed Mode?
Since it ties into the enums, there was a huge risk it would break the app when I update. The HA version had that problem for example. By supporting it, it’s safe to update the firmware. That’s why I asked if it was supported, a is the code tested with it question, not a feature request per se.
@DaneedeKruyff thanks for testing and the screenshot! You’re right: the app doesn’t detect managed mode yet. It reads the charger’s local (standalone) RFID list, and your old Peblar tag is still stored there, so the charger still returns it. In managed mode Blue Current handles authorization, so that local tag most likely isn’t used, and presenting it probably does nothing. Why it survived your reset I’m not sure: Peblar’s manual says a factory reset deletes stored tags, but a recommission might not. The charger does report when it’s managed over OCPP, so the next test version will show a notice and disable adding/presenting tags in managed mode.
Compact widget for the Homey Dashboard, showing the charging mode with an optional power bar and pause/resume buttons. Big thanks to @DaneedeKruyff for building this!
New session energy capability
Managed mode detection: when your charger is managed by a back office over OCPP, the app now shows a notice and disables adding/presenting RFID cards. The local list and removal stay available so you can clean up old tags. @DaneedeKruyff this should fix what you ran into, let me know!
@Kaoh this also includes everything from 4.4.0, so you’re safe to update to firmware 1.10. Feedback is welcome as always!
