Add the device as you would add any device to Homey. You can set the polling frequency in the device settings. This value is used to update the current status of the device in Homey.
Donations
I enjoy creating apps for Homey and try to support them as best as I can. If you enjoy using my apps a donation in return for the time I put into this is much appreciated.
Hi, I tried this app briefly on a Homey 2023, but had to uninstall it again. It consumed a crazy amount of RAM, and crashed the app, and eventually Homey crashed as well.
I used it before (some years ago) on a Homey 2019 without issues.
Sorry, it was the sabnzbd app I used before on Homey 2019 and not this app.
When does this happen? After a certain amount of time? Or are there other factors aswell?
It has been a while since I worked on this app. I also have the new Homey Pro, but never really tested it property tbh. Back then I also had the early 2019 version.
It happened right from the start. I reinstalled the app yesterday some hours later, and added the same device. At the start it did have high ram and cpu consumption, but not as high as last time so it didn’t crash this time. Now it has normalized and seem to be running with sane cpu and ram consumption. So I don’t know, maybe the first time it didn’t install well? or maybe the reboot of the Homey after the crash cleared out some junk. Don’t know, but at the moment it seem to be fine.
Well, I actually think I used both the mentioned apps before without issues, but I can’t remember exactly now. In any case I did have issues with this app now, but after a reinstall and a bit rough start it seem to have fixed itself somehow as its been running normally for about two days now.
Maybe my Homey just needed a restart.
