[APP][Pro] Norwegian Electricity Bill (Strømregning)

Yes I have.

I do get correct values in.

But when I use them in a flow, the flow do not get trigged

Appear as spotprice fetched by strømregning is not the same as published by nordpool. is a couple of øre to low. anybody else experiencing this?

Strømregning probably gets the wrong prices, now that the 15 minute pricing is in effect. Perhaps it is getting the price for the first 15 minutes of each hour, and not the average price for the hour?

The old Nordpool URL (which Strømregning uses) started delivering 15 minute prices on 1 Oct, so either the app must start calculating the average, or the URL within the app must be updated to fetch hourly prices instead (Nordpool has a URL that provides hourly prices).

Ok, I Will check for this

I think you are right. the price is correct for the first 15 minutes of the nordpool 15 min resolution. I wonder if Almli is working on it. Has he been on here lately?

I don’t think he’s very active for the time being. I think the better approach is to get the prices from somewhere else, and then update Strømregning from a flow. I started doing that the last time Strømregning had issues with prices (because Nordpool had made some changes), and I never reverted to Strømregning fetching prices by itself.

Since I have “Norgespris” now, I don’t really need the spot prices for anything other than comparing to what I would have paid, so it isn’t very important to me at the moment.

PBTH is being worked on, and will have correct prices soon, so if I were you, I’d use that and feed the prices to Strømregning in a flow.

Ok, then i think homeys native price tool is the best bet. in the beta they released 60 min resolution this week.

Ah. I had forgotten that they have a native price tool now. I agree that might be the best, as they should be committed to keep it working properly at all times.

@balmli A glitch in the “strømpris” sent the cost way down. I need a flowcard to correct the value. Can it be done?

I think you meant 15 min resolution

You should be able to do this with Homeyscript, I think. Take a look at this example:

You will of course have to modify it for your particular device. To find the exact names you need, look at the device in Developer Tools. In your case, the capability id you need is ‘meter_sum_month’.

Edit: I tested this myself, and it seems that this capability isn’t setable:

Failed to update value: HomeyAPIError: Capability Not Setable

PBTH is actually delivering correct hourly prices as of now. :ok_hand:

Except, it is not possible to set advanced settings at the moment

Seems like v1.12 now fetches Nord Pool price inkl mva? Is that expected?

My mistanke. I see now that v1.12 actually updates price every 15min. Kind of useless for me as a private household. We pay the average per-hour price, not the 15min price.

Can you please add an option to either follow hour or 15min price?

After swapping to from summer time to winter time Strømregning selects cheep “nettleie” one hour too early. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to mitigate this?
