Did you have a chance to look into this? Can I help somehow?
Can we just add the ability to switch modes? The rest is not so critical.
Same here
Now power usage is not coming to homey anymore. Even not after deleting al the devices ![]()
No respons anymore? App is useless at the moment. Delete?
Need some extra data? If so just reply then ill share it to ![]()
Seems like app developer Pallieter is not responding. I tried sending a mail via the app contact itself but mail address is not valid.
I suspect Vaillant has changed some online database names or so which need updating in the Homey app.
He all, sorry for my absence. Did a rewrite of the authentication token renew logic in version 1.7.4.
Hopefully this will finally fix the randomly stop syncing data.
Thanks for your reply, glad you are back. ![]()
Does your rewrite also fix the partial data retrieval from Vaillant database? See my previous question. In Vaillant android app I get all data also energy consumption, but in the Homey Vaillant app some parameters stay at zero. My assumption is Vaillant may have renamed or moved this data, so the Homey Vaillant app can not import it.
Same here!
No, the energy monitor is not fixed. Do you have logging enabled in the Homey MyVaillant application settings? Could you send me youâre logging id, that will help me identify the issue and possible new keys Vaillant is using in the api response.
Logging was enabled, this is the id: e701cc61-150a-41c5-9fd7-25425077f62d
What I see is it shows status, outside temp, avg outside temp and water pressure, strangely at different intervals. No device history is shown.
It does NOT take power, enery, current and set watertemp and empty tank warning (not sure if the FlexoCompact 118/4 has that). In the Android Vaillant app it shows energy use, but not actual power taken. On the Zone settings it does not take day, night or off. Temp setting, current temp and humidity are shown, however sometimes temp setting shows 4 C which is clearly never the case.
I am a bit confused by this as I did see screenshots in this thread of someone with I think an Arotherm that did show al parameters.
Hope this helps in your diagnostics. Many thanks for the effort!
Thanks!
For the power consumption is see an empty response, this looks to be not supported for youâre device to read realtime powerusage. But it should be possible to read the energy usage for a DAY or HOUR window. So to myVaillant app should be able to update the total power consumption but wonât be able to show the current power usage.
I can explain the different intervals, this last updated time is showing when the last change was. As long the value does not change, this interval wonât be updated. ![]()
To summarize:
- power, is not available in the API
- energy, should be possible with a not yet implemented API that can retrieve the consumption per hour
- current domestic hot water temp, this value does not exist for youâre system
- desired domestic hot water temp, this value is available but is called a setPoint temp. Must be changed to use this value
- Zone modes are different, have further look in to this it uses different values
- The current temp dropping down to 4c is a known âbugâ. This happens when there is no heating/cooling demand by itâs schedule, the Vaillant API will fallback to the frost protection temp. But this is strange in the Homey UI. Is on my list to fix this.
Can you give me youâre logging id. And what model Vaillant product do you have? Thanks

Arotherm plus
Vr940F
Is this enough?
@Pallieter - See screenshot for my system FlexoCompact 118/4 vs screenshot of Glenn_K.
He has âtapwatertempsâ. On the Vaillant app I have tapwater temp as well, actual and as a setpoint. So my Flexocompact system does have these parameters and is exporting to Vaillant cloud, but are not shown in the Homey app for some reason.
When doing some online research I understand Vaillant did not map power for FlexoCompact to VR940F gateway, but perhaps more modern AroTherm does have this mapping. Energy consumption however is in the Android Vaillant app so that is mapped in detail as it differentiates between heating, cooling and tapwater.
I can check with my supplier if firmware updates exist for the FlexoCompact.
