Perhaps this report helps.

Unfortunately, we have also recently been experiencing connection problems with our air conditioners at home.

They have always worked flawlessly through Homey, but since December 15 (update V 1.3.3), all three air conditioners drop out in Homey.
Restarting the app then seems to work temporarily—sometimes for half an hour, sometimes for a few hours.

Connection with the ā€œSmart M-airā€ app is always problem-free, and we have good mesh Wi-Fi 6 coverage at home, so that shouldn’t be the issue either.

@evdpol maybe it’s possible to make version 1.3.2 stable? and 1.3.5 beta? so i can download the stable version.

First of all, Thanks for writing and maintaining the app.

Like many others I didn’t have problems with the app util 1.3.3. After the 15 dec updates a often get the red ! After restarting it works again, sometimes a few minutes or sometimes a few hours.

Hello

Since the latest update, we have noticed that the air conditioners are no longer online. In Homey, we see a triangle icon on the devices, which makes them unreachable.

Could you please look into what might be causing this?

Thank you in advance, and also many thanks for managing and maintaining the application — it is greatly appreciated.

Kind regards,

Same problem here, one week ago no trouble. Now the airco’s are giving me the red triangles.

Could you maybe go back to 1.3.2?

Hi! I really appreciate all the work that goes in to building these apps. I just want to let you know that whatever happend from the 2 version a week ago to now the last 3 updates screwed up my aircos. Similar problem to everyone else.

I kindly ask you to revert back to that version. Thank you for all the support.

The 2 ac’s at our home are back online. Yesterday I’ve noticed the red triangles as well, but I don’t bother anymore. Most of the time they disappear pretty soon.

Note: Our ac’s are not our main heating. That makes a differance

Thanks for the ā€œfixā€ :crossed_fingers:

Thanks.

→ https://www.coolmark.nl/nl/artnr/7140199/mitsubishi-heavy-industries

Should be fixed in the new version. If not, please send another report.

EDIT: Whoops, gotta fix something else.

EDIT 2: Should be fine now…

nog niet helemaal. App en homey reboot en ook airco opnieuw toevoegen helpt niet.

Unfortunately v1.3.9 still has the same issue.

Thank you for looking into this!

Mine is a Homey Pro 2023 with Ethernet adapter.

@evdpol : because I’m a new user I’m not allowed to post more then 3 posts. That’s why I’m updating this post with the new info

I’ve updated to v1.3.10. But I still have the same connection problem with the second unit. And with this version of the app I sometimes even have the same issue with the first unit. I tried deleting the unit(s) from homey, reinstalling the app. disconnect the power for a few minutes, setting everything up again. Nothing seems to work. I made a new app report.

Still the same probleem Here

Could it be that only older users with specific Homey Pro hardware versions have this problem? And not the 2023 / 2026 users?

The strange thing is (homey 2023 pro here), since 1.3.9 some are ok and working, but 2 of them go unreachable still after a while. (All Wifi RAC adapters).

Wifi connected of adapter?

Same problem here, running 2023 and self hosted server, works for a couple of minutes when restaring the app.
