[APP][Pro] Mitsubishi WF-RAC - Cooling, heating and ventilation

Just new, bought the Homey Mini Pro. Looked forward to connect my Mitsubishi but unfortunately running into issue. I can add it, device has been found. But after installing I can open the device details but after a few secondes it shows can’t connect. Ensured no one is logged in and checked the IP.

not sure why it’s not working I’m happy to debug if it helps, again I know it’s all voluntary work I will for sure donate for your hard work.

Thank you

Same problem Here. Have 3 units installed. Two of them work perfectly an the third gives the same problem. I deleted and added the airco multiple times, but without succes anyone some suggestions. Already tried static ip above 80. Homey seems to find it gives the right ip, but no succes.

i noticed that the Smart M-air. gives a error if it can’t connect after closing and reopening the app change a setting in the ac like temp , then the ac is online again in homey and in Smart M-air

seems like the WF-RAC creates a error in the ac so it is not reacting in the Smart M-air app in the first connection

Thanks for the fast follow up I tried, but without success.

For me problems seems solved with 1.3.9. No errors.

Thank you so much

I think I’m the only one with this issue. Could it be something I’ve setup wrong?

Still issues with timeouts. I reboot the app and it works till it times out again. Please revert back to 1.3.2

Same problem here. Still with the latest update

Hi, I have the same problem. Homey Pro early 2019. 2 airco’s, they where both connected to homey and the smart air app. One lost the connection and wouldn’t connect again. It is still connected and working with de Mitsubishi app. When a new install in Homey, the airco is recognized and connected. But then an error message: apparaat onbeschikbaar, invalid_setting_type. Before it was working well with homey (flows). Any solution? Greetings, Hans

So not sure when this gets fixed, but like others mentioned as well. If you restart the app, the red triangles disappear and the aircos are online again.

So in my flows I restart the app first, then with a 15 sec delay I do my normal airco flows. Lets see if that is a workaround for now. Maybe others could use this

Appreciated the time and effort you take.

I reverted the connection how I used it in v1.3.2.

Also added extensive logging for diagnostic reports and better debugging.

Also, please let me know if the connection is more stable. People are good at telling me something is wrong, but now I would also like to hear if the connection is better now.

It will never be 100%, as the WF-RAC module is just bugged (some more than others).

Just installed v1.3.10, and now the problems seem to be getting worse. I uninstalled everything and reinstalled it in Homey, but unfortunately, that didn’t help. As soon as the app restarts in Homey, it loses connection to the air conditioner, sometimes to one, sometimes to several. Restarting only helps for a few seconds this time. How can I tell in Homey whether this is a Wi-Fi connection issue or an actual app problem?

Edit: 25 dec. Today it looks fine, all airco’s are connected and up and running fine! Keep you updated…

I’m using version 1.3.9 with fixed IP addresses and de connections to my 2 airco’s are stable. Good work!

Autoinstalled version 1.3.10, now all seems to be ok, thanks for your effort.

It’s working all good now here. You’re an absolute hero!

Merry Xmas!

Unfortunately, on my end the device can not be found. Ensured I’m not logged in using the Mitsubishi App, device is turned on etc. I installed the app, reinstalled which does not help. I created a report; perhaps it helps. 17dabc07-8319-49e5-ac17-e7a38b90072a

Again, thank you for your effort and happy holidays.

Here unfortunately also no improvement.
