Every time a flow turns on one of my AC’s it’s being turned off in a view seconds. If I turning it manually with homey, is also is turned off a view seconds.
Ik don’t get why.
Hey Edwin,
If you’re still active, any chance you could take a look at this?
d59d67ad-5243-4919-959e-5ae5d9a4d4e7
I’ve reinstalled the app a couple times. The controls work for a few actions and then goes to device unavailable. On my separate 2.4ghz IoT network, I have a strong and stable connection, and my homey is in the same subnet… I’m a bit lost of what to try.
Thanks,
Sam
After my problem on april 14, i’ve reinstalled the airco’s in homey en it worked fine. Until today. Now i’ve got the same problem as you…
Maybe another reinstal will work, but with a lot of flowcards to replace that’s not my first option.
Re-installed 1 airco, but still not unvailable. Via Smart-M-air everthing works fine…
Typical, from one moment to the other everything seems to work again. Fingers crossed. Now rebuild my flow from the reinstalled airco.
Same problem here
Problem is there again.
One of two AC’s is connected again, without doing anything. Just like 2 weeks ago [APP][Pro] Mitsubishi WF-RAC - Cooling, heating and ventilation - #109 by Robkrekel
I had 5 units working for a year.
Now all are unreachable in Homey but still work fine with Smart M-Air.
Anyone figured out how to solve it?
Remove your devices and add them again and fix all broken flows.
With a little patience (days) they should come back as reachable. Read the messages above. Re-instal doesn’t alway help [APP][Pro] Mitsubishi WF-RAC - Cooling, heating and ventilation - #108 by Robkrekel
I have 6 indoor units, but (the same) one always disconnects.
Is there a limit ?
Or is the source-code available that i can take a look at?
Something strange is happening, when i do i “homey app run” it doesnt give a problem.
When i do a ‘homey app install’ , after ± < 1 minute, it shows a red triangle.
It’'s always the same airco that gives ‘the problem’
I’m on the v1.2.3 and on homey v12.4.4
I know, weird eh? Nobody online / other communities / integrations know what causes this “connection failure”. I haven’t seen a solution for this problem somewhere else unfortunately.
Did you ask the help ( because they clearly don;t read here ) of athom? Since we’re all helping their device get better. Maybe they have some extra tooling to debug the issue.
This think this isn’t the problem of Athom / Homey, it has something to do with the Mitsubishi WiFi adapter and how it works internally maybe.
Hi all, I have setup my AC-units in my Homey Pro and pushed all my devices to Homekit with Homekitty, but the AC-units are not supported according Homekitty. I read that people are doing the same and can control their AC unit with Homekit like this. Anyone familiar with this issue?
Hi Edwin,
I read several users report problems that de airco’s can not be controlled from homey anymore, but still report al their status changes.
It happened to me a few months ago and now it happened again on sunday 29-7 around 04:00 I can see in my logging.. (a27684fe-1d9b-47d9-ae95-0a197c490ccb).
Deleting and pairing again is the solution, but fixing 50+ cards is not funny anymore after 3 times.
My wifi is stable, devices have fixed IP as I described to you earlier.
I restored my homey to a view days earlier when it still worked, but no effect.
I notice one strange thing. In the MHI app only 1 smarytphone is connected to de Airco unit, and that is the MHI app itself.
That is strage, somehow Homey is kicked out as a controlling device?
I Hope you can look into this, because several users experience this (recurring) problem.
Perhaps there is a way to make it possible reconnect/repair the connection WITHOUT having to delete the devices?
Or perhaps anyone else has A permanent solution exept from reconnecting?
I hope you can react on this message.
Kind Regards,
Marco van Barneveld.
What makes you think that Homey is “kicked out” as a controlling device?
I’ve never had that problem before tbh.
How long did you wait before you re-create the devices?
My connections go down also sometimes, but they will restore eventually.
Did you also try to restart the app in Homey?
Furthermore, I can see a LOT of these lines in your error report (at least every 5 minutes for 1 specific airco):
[Device:xxxxxxx] Last seen changed 192.168.1.68:51443
You need to check your network setup. It always gets the same IP address, but that is looking weird to me.
And every 30 minutes you get this error (for 1 specific airco’s):
[Device:xxxxxxx] [Sync] Error: error.connection
So, 1 airco is “rediscovered” all the time, and 2/3 don’t, but have connection errors.
I found this interesting topic which proves that WF-RAC devices will terminate the network connection to the router every hour!!
