Everything went well, thank you for asking. It is my second, my wife’ first. Had a bit of a rough start, but everything is good now. We will be at the hospital for 24 hours to observe her. If all goes well, we will be home tomorrow.
Good to hear that everything went well, and congratulations on the birth of your child.
Congratulations on the birth. And of course, thanks for the adjustments as well. I see the linked air conditioners are connected now too. I didn’t have to re-pair them; I had already manually set the connection to secured.
The invalid setting value is related to Homey (early 2019), as far as I can see.
It looks like the possible length of a setting value is different than on other Homey platforms.
I have to test it on my own (old) Homey though.
I have to contact Athom support why this is the case, if this is the case.
If so, maybe I have to remove the “Operator ID” setting from the settings which will resolve this issue.
After that, you will possibly have to remove and re-add all the devices. The operator ID is not removed from the device itself, so first check if there are <4 accounts on the device. If not, you have to reset the WiFi module before adding the device.
Sorry for the inconvenience, but first I will check with Athom and the old Homey.
I will get back here if I know more.
Thanks for looking into this. I indeed forgot to mention it, but I am using the Homey Early 2019 here.
Would it be possible to create a temporary test version for Homey Early 2019 users, where the Operator ID is removed until Athom responds? (don’t know their response time
)
In that case, I would be happy to test it directly for you.
I will see what I can do.
I’ve also lost connection to my devices via Homey 2019. I’d be grateful if you could keep me updated on the solution. And of course, congratulations!
Same problem (unreachable devices) here on my Homey Pro early 2019. Is there anything we can do to help fix this issue?
Allright, I have located the issue. Will release a new test version today.
A new version of the app is available for testing (1.4.5).
Please let me know if it works, otherwise send me a diagnostic report right after the app is started.
Yes yes, it works again! The errors are disappearing like snow in the sun. Everyting is back online again without having to re-add the devices. Thanks for the effort, man! Appreciate it and I’ve also bought you a beer via PayPal
One unit works great now ![]()
The other I deleted and added again and still won’t work it gives a invalid_setting_type error (ae96b045-2eb9-484b-8940-b7052356ef5b)
I did exactly the same as you and had the same issue with one of the four units. Removing that one again and re-adding it solved the problem for me
I see temperature and looks online but not responding. Delete an reconnect the device in the app. 047b48a6-9d1b-4508-9b70-37dae838f071
The AC in my last post is the only one reacting like this.
Another one don’t give this reaction, but did not start up
The third is working fine.
The first two are installed 2 years ago, the last one 2 months ago.
Wondering if I’m going to reset the AC’s itself…

Do i need to reset the airco units it self? Or just delete the airco units in the homey app and re add them? The last option is not working. If i re add them is see everything (tempertature, enz) but they are not responding to commands like on/off ore tempertature higher/lower.
Hi Edwin,
Here everything seems to work again: my 2 airco’s are connected (and stay this way) and the commands through Homey are excecuted correct (and not overruled)
. I will keep an eye on them over the next few days. Thank you very much for all your efforts.
Greetings, Hans
You are a legend!
The app somehow reverted back to 1.4.4, but now that it’s on 1.4.5 everything works ![]()
Unfortunately, I still have the following problem. If someone switches the air conditioner on with the remote control, the Smart Mair app registers this and displays it, but Homey unfortunately still thinks the air conditioner is switched off.
