Ah nooo, that’s a shame. Same problem here
.Over the past six months it has been running very stably here, until today’s 1.4.1 update. All four aircos are unreachable now and showing the “invalid setting” message as described here.

I’ve noticed that a number of fields are not filled in, see below. (Yes, the app was restarted and Homey was rebooted, but I’m still holding off on removing and re‑adding all the AC’s .)

And yet, no one sends a diagnostic report

Try setting the “Beveiligde verbinding” to “Nee” manually, and wait a minute for the device to synchronize again


Since version Version 1.4.1 I’m loosing the connection to my 2 airco’s again. This happened also in the past, but not since begin this year. The difference is that earlier the message was “apparaat onbeschikbaar invalid_setting_type” and now “apparaat onbeschikbaar apparaat is niet ondersteund”. Restarting the app doesn’t help. (Beside this problem, even when the airco’s are connected, I still have the other issue: the commands I send through Homey to the airco’s are not effectuated: it is not clear to me if they are not send, not excecuted or overruled). The pitty is that end last year everything working well.

I released a new version (1.4.3). Is this fixed now?

i had to restart the app because every device was “broken” (after the auto-update)

After update 1.4.1 (and now also 1.4.3), all devices have the status “Apparaat onbereikbaar” / “Apparaat is niet beschikbaar.” Changing the “Beveiligde verbinding” setting to ‘Nee‘ is not possible. When I set it to “Nee,” it returns “Invalid_setting_type.”

I have just removed one of the four air conditioners and tried to install it again, but even re‑adding it no longer works—the device immediately shows as “Apparaat onbeschikbaar.”

I will make a diagnostic

I just submitted a new version of the app, and is available for testing.

This should fix the invalid setting error and everything should work as before.

@evdpol unfortunately still the same issue. Removed the app and installer the 1.4.3 version. Right after adding all my airconditioners I get the invalid_setting_type again.

With the previous version I was able to successfully add 2 older models and got the error only with 2 recent models. Now I receive the error on all my models..

Can you check again? Using Homey Early 2018 here.

That is correct. Could you try with the test version, as I said? That is version 1.4.4.
