Homey will not appear in the Marstek App, the Marstek App can’t connect to Homey, only to their own products. (and Homey connects to the battery to pull data). Have you enabled the Local API settings on the battery, as documented in the README?
Ah, I see the details you shared, the local API is enabled. You can try to reset the battery using the BLE tool and see if they appear in Homey. Note that Homey will poll the data from the battery. As stated in the README, the battery does not play well when multiple apps are trying to access its local API (Such as APP and/or CT002). Check if there is a new firmware available, I think other Venus 3 users reported a higher firmware?
Just a question you do have a actual ct? Like HomeWizard or Marstek? Because that defines the selfconsumption or is needed. Homey can just set the mode unthinkable with automation. Don’t really use it. I have the battery always in self consumption. And just use homey to read the data to see when is use too much and too little to see how Incan use different appliances in different moments

I myself use the HomeWizard one and it works good. I think in the ct of Marstek it is just p1 meter (beta)
Don’t know about Shelly or the homey single never worked with them. But I would stick to the once that you can actually see in the Marstek app as option. Best change that they will work in my opinion.
Do yourself a favour and buy one of these: MARSTEK CT002 Smart Meter – Marstek Energy-ct002
They measure every second and really communicate with your battery.

I am not using a HomeWizard P1 meter.
I am using a Homey Energy Dongle connected to my smart meter → Homey pro 2026.
Does anyone know if the Homey Energy Dongle is supported by Marstek as a CT device for self-consumption mode?
Or do I need a supported device such as a HomeWizard P1 Meter or a Shelly Pro 3EM?

Try this app Shelly Pro 3EM simulator. It read data from your Homey Energy Tab. So with every P1 device which is visible in your Energy Tab.
My 0,500 Euro: if it works it will probably support just one battery.
However, while the Marstek CT003 P1 meter may not be the cheapest it is by far the easiest way of getting started - you just plug it in connect all devices to the same 2.4-Ghz WiFi (only!) and of you go!
At least that is what I did. Meaning I can benefit from the battery self-consumption mode while experimenting with Homey/HA setup.
I have a CT003. And although it works relatively fine with 2 batteries, with three it does not.
Your meter might report every second (mine does not, so 0 on the meter is not happening) then you are fine. Still, sometimes i saw one battery charging the other.
The ct002 however makes from your batteries a single group, so it acts as one.

I finally got it working! I installed the Shelly Pro 3EM Simulator app, added the IP addresses of the battery and the P1 Meter dongle, removed and re-added the battery in the Marstek app, connected the CT via the Shelly Pro 3EM, and everything started working perfectly.
The battery is now operating in Self-Consumption mode.

Hello, now that I’ve been testing the BLE functionality for quite some time, I can say that I’m overwhelmingly positive about it
. I have set the polling interval to 5 minutes, but that’s just a personal preference.
The only flow card I can’t get to work is the one for switching the operating mode on or off. This is actually quite important, because, for example, I want to be able to disable the batteries when the EV starts charging.
When you have the time, could you take another look at this and see if we can get this flow card working?
I do not do any of those things when updating the VEs
I’m not even in Bluetooth range of the batteries.
When the app says, update, i update and keep the app open. That’s all.

Question up until know I was working with a HomeWizard p1 meter connected to Marstek battery and to p1 port with a splitter which also goes to the charger of the car. Worked great. For some reason the HomeWizard p1 doesn’t work anymore now in the splitter as long as the car charger is plugged in also. Can you use a splitter with the Marstek meter?
Yes you can. I would advice a CT002 however. That changes the entire behaviour of an accu set.
Why or how it changes it? It is not connected to the p1 port?
The seperate batteries start really to act like one.
The ctoo2 measures every second and steers the batteries.
You can see it in the battery level graph (the levels are in sync) and power graph. The red line is grid and yellow solar. The others are the batteries. They too are also relatively the same.
If your ct003 measures every second and have on battery, this won’t matter and it will work fine. If you have two or three, buy a ct002.
That one has to be connected in your fuse box and measures with a coil.
Ha great this will then also free up the o1 port for the car charger.
For the moment I only have 1 battery but was thinking to buy a second one just not sure which one. Currently I have the Venus 3. And was looking at their stackable batteries as it would give more liberty to the future
It depends if you want more than 15 Kwh storage. If not, 3x VEs work fine. If you want more, then choose the other. If you have 3 fases, you can do 9 VEs. Three on each fase.
