[APP][Pro] Magic Home LED

@Yannik_Costa what might be a thing is that the modem use IPV6. I had the same thing with my modem (from Ziggo (dutch UPC)) maybe changing it to IPV4 might fix it. I requested that at Ziggo

Or indeed check with the new wifi.

I think magic home app can handle both.

@martijnpoppen

thanks for the idea

But is already deactivated as i had some problem with other products on that  so looks like i will need to fast change the wifi and hope it works then again  will inform you anyway about the outcome

Goede avond.

Fijne dagen alvast

Mvg,
Marcel

New app update (test: 3.4.1):

Changelog:

  • NEW: add custom buffer for AK001-ZJ200 and AK001-ZJ2146
  • FIX: change product page image
  • FIX: edit custom buffer for AK001-ZJ200 and AK001-ZJ2146

@PV2134 @KRiZ So new update. Hopefully this works :crossed_fingers:
I’m a bit out of options. The library is not updated for quite some time. So I’m trying to make changes my self. But when I look at flux_led the library i’m using is really behind on flux_led.

@KRiZ you can add the device as a AK001-ZJ2146
@PV2134 make sure to select AK001-ZJ200-2 this is a custom variant of your controller

Hi Martijn, test results are in:

Installed test version of the app
Removed device
Restarted app
Tried to add the device, but no new device found
Disconnected and connected device from power, same result
Installed stable version of the app and restarted app
Still no new devices found
Reinstalled test version
Restarted Homey
Device was found and added
Changed device type to AK001-ZJ200-2
Restarted app
Device now responds to on/off
Device does not respond to other control changes

Thus, still not the result we need

Peter

Hey @PV2134
:frowning:

Can you try one thing

  • make sure the selectief type is ZJ200-2
  • restart the app
  • try again.

But it probably doesn’t work. :frowning:
Not sure if I’m able to fix it.
It does require a rewrite of the library.

Hi @martijnpoppen, sorry to say it is not working.
I have tried readding the light and restarting the app, but I get no reaction on dimming and color selection.

@KRiZ yeah was expecting that. I’ll get in touch with the creator of the library and maybe he knows how to fix this. For me this is not possible to fix

Tried that. I removed the device, installed amd restarted the app and tried to add the device again
Didn’t work, but device was found after reatarting homey. Changed the type but now device is not accessible anymore and not listed as app devices. Restarted the app, device was back again, checked the type and performed some tests. Same result, only on/off.

Thanks @PV2134
So i messaged the creator of the library. I’m not able to make the changes myself and to maintain that. Hopefully he responds

Fyi @KRiZ

Thank you @martijnpoppen.
If it would help, I could send you the device, so you can try it for your self.

Cant get this one to be discovered…
Any ideas?

Hey @Lstrandmark ,
Did you already connect the ledstrip to it?
Try connecting without

5v addressable ledstrips need a lot of ampĆØre. I use 10A for my 5m strip

if the ampere is too low the wifi adapter will not work

Its 24v strip, supplying power with 24v, Max 20Amps

Its up and running with Magic Home app, problem is its not discovering in Homey

//Linus

@Lstrandmark are Homey and the Magic Home adapter in the same network?

No VLANS etc?

Can you share a diagnostic report?

More - apps - magic home - settings wheel right top - send diagnostic report

I can do that, but first I want to say that I have 6 other Magic Home controllers connected and working fine

Its just this new model I cant seem to add…

//Linus

New app update (live: 3.4.2):

Changelog:

  • FIX: pairing discovery

@Lstrandmark you can install the live version again if you no longer wish to get test updates.
