Linked Switches
Keep switches in sync — no flows needed
This app lets you group 2 to 10 ON/OFF devices so they always stay in the same state, no matter which one triggers the change. Perfect for three-way switch setups where multiple physical switches control the same light or group of lights.
How it works: the app creates a virtual device that links your switches together. This virtual device appears in your device list and acts as the group controller — you don’t need to interact with it directly, but it must stay paired for the sync to work.
Two drivers
- Linked Switch Group — a closed sync group where all devices mirror each other. One device must be marked as Primary — it is controlled first, with the others following with a small delay to reduce simultaneous commands on your Zigbee network. Typically this is the switch wired directly to the load.
- Switch Master — one master switch controls 2 to 9 subdevices. The master can override the slaves, but each slave keeps individual control. When all slaves reach the same state, the master syncs back automatically.
No flows required — synchronization is handled automatically by the app as soon as any device in the group is toggled, physically or via Homey.
