Are there more people who don’t have energy reading? When I’m heating, the ‘power function’ mode does not work.
I’m using the ‘share code’ type.

I’m not able to add my spa in Homey since they only present a QR-code, I can’t find the RW_Share code anywhere.
Must have been an update or something?
I didn’t create an account (I tried, but wasn’t successful, got hit with an unknown error from the bestway app) ![]()
Or am I doing something wrong? ![]()
Which App are you using?
V1 models: must be configured using the Bestway Smart Hub app (Android/iOS).
or
V2 models: must be configured using the Bestway Connect app (Android/iOS).
It’s same for me
Last upped app
Version 1.3.16
iPhone
My spa is Ultrafit Airjet V02 (model S400201) and I have used Bestway Connect app (v. 1.3.16) on my iPhone ios 26.5.2.
I tried the Bestway smart hub app, but was unsuccessful connecting it. Went back to connect app, but still only get the QR sharing option.
I saw that the app was updated 5 days ago, could that be it?
If you scan the QR code with a separate device and a standard QR scanner, does the extracted text begin with RW_Share_?
@rtorkelsen Would you mind merging the pull request and pushing a test build for the guys?

Fix for the “only QR code, no RW_Share_ text” pairing issue — available now on GitHub, not yet on the Store
Hi all,
Thanks for reporting this — I tracked down the root cause: Bestway rolled out a new backend (“Smart Home” / Gizwits AEP gateway) for 2025+ UltraFit devices via the Bestway Connect app. Since around July 2026, that app’s “Share Device” QR code no longer produces the old RW_Share_ text code — it now encodes a share link instead (something like smart-spa-eu-app.bestwaycorp.com/...?shareId=...), which the app previously rejected outright during pairing.
I’ve implemented support for this new backend. Pairing now automatically detects which format you’ve pasted — a legacy RW_Share_ code or a new share link/id — and routes to the correct backend behind the scenes. If you only ever see a QR code in the Bestway Connect app, just scan it with any QR scanner app (your phone’s camera works) and paste whatever text comes out; the app will figure out the rest.
This isn’t published to the Homey App Store yet — I’d like a few of you to test it first, since I don’t own an UltraFit device myself and built this against a verified open-source reference implementation rather than real hardware. If you’re affected and willing to try it:
npm install -g homeygit clone https://github.com/andiwirz/homey-layz.git && cd homey-layznpm installhomey loginhomey app install (this installs straight onto your Homey Pro — no need to remove the Store version first, it just overwrites it in place; your existing devices/flows are kept)Full step-by-step instructions are in the README.
If you can pair your spa this way, I’d really appreciate feedback on:
Once a couple of people confirm it works, @rtorkelsen needs to push it to the Store’s TEST channel. Thanks for your patience!
I also don’t get the Heater on/off card. Lay Z app version v1.3.10. Homey Pro 2026 version 13.4.0
Hi Frode - This is already fixed in the newer version - You could try the newest version on my repository until @rtorkelsen publishes teh version to the Homey App Store?
