Good morning I have created a Huawei Solar integration into Homey. For now it is possible to read battery and solar data, there are also some extra conditions that were added. [image] Huawei Solar Smart energy for a better life Any feedback is welcome …

Hi, when I try to add a device I got every time this message. Has anyone an idea? [image]

Please read the above posts  This is an issue and it is currently investigated by the App author. But it seems to take some time to get this fixed.

Me to: I would also donate for someone who could write an app for Modbus integration of huawei PV. Who else would do so? Is there no one willing to do it for money?

Yes, it’s a shame that there has been no answer for so long when and if an update is planned. Maybe someone else can do the work. At the same time you can then change server access. I’d also be very interested in a modbus version. I have modbus working over TCP on my inverter (no, it doesn’t require an ethernet cable, works just fine with wifi, you just need to be on a new enough dongle firmware) and am currently using a Docker image with some scripts to create MQTT topics for …

@Valentin_Ciopei the app works and finds the inverter without any problems. But where can I get the register number?

Huawei provides documentation for modbus. https://support.huawei.com/enterprise/en/doc/EDOC1100050690 Here is an example (I’m still testing): [Screenshot 2024-02-28 at 19.06.02]

@Valentin_Ciopei Does you have the opportunity to make their inverter accessible via VPN for testing? We can test TCP Modus here: [APP][Pro] SolarEdge + Growatt TCP modbus - #829 by Edwin_Biemond
