Hi,
Happy you like the work
That’s weird about the images. Normally the option shows up once the first image file is there. Try restarting the app and let me know. Might just be a bug.
If you’re interested I have a DS-KD8003 IME1 doorbell as well as the DS-KD-KP keypad and the DS-KD-M badge reader which are associated with it via RS485. At home I have a DS-KH9510-WTE1 indoor station running Android.
Hello everyone, I’ve just released a new version of the application (1.12.0).
It fixes some bugs and adds support for generic devices.
For doorbells that apparently do not trigger any event when the doorbell button is pressed, to help me you would need to do the following:
1/ Create a generic Hikvision device using the doorbell’s IP address
2/ Stop and restart the new generic device
3/ Create a flow with “When” → “Event detected” and log/trace the event
4/ Press the doorbell button and send me the name of the event that is reported
I did create the generic device. When the button is pushed, the following event is logged: Update ringing hmd/sensor/Outdoor/Call-state/state
When I push the cancel button on the indoor device, the following event is logged: Update dismissed hmd/sensor/Outdoor/Call-state/state
When the doorbel stops ringing, the following event is logged: Update idle hmd/sensor/Outdoor/Call-state/state
Unfortunately, I do not see any motion events being logged. Furthermore, if I open the door from the indoor station, I do not see any event being logged.
I’m a new user of Homey. What didn’t work with the Onvif camera app can be done with your Hikvision app. Of course, this could also be due to my limited experience with Homey, but in any case I am very happy with your app.
I hope I didn’t miss anything in the forum, but I can’t manage to stream Live Video’s. Live Snapshot and Last Event Snapshot works fine and that helps enormously. In the Android Hik-Connect app and in the web browser, I can still see live images.
I’m now wondering if I’m doing something wrong or need to change settings?
I have 5 Hikvision cameras (DS-2CD2347G2-LU) that are connected to a Hikvision NVR (DS-7608NI-K2/8P).
Thank you for all the time you offer to create this.
I connected all my 6 camera and NVR and its working fine.
The only thing I struggle with is my hikvision doorstation, it’s installed and tested correctly, but when I want to go to the device in Homey (push longer on the doorbell buton in Homey} the app crashes.
I also created a flow when the call button is pressed it should trigger the Klikaanklikuit doorbel chime but it doesn’t. I tried also when the doorbel is “aangezet”with the same result. hope you can help me and thanks again.
Hi everyone,
Sorry, I’m quite busy with other things at the moment, so I don’t have time to move the application forward.
In short:
For the live view that isn’t working while the sound does, it’s probably a network issue or a permissions/configuration problem on the NVR or Homey (they are working on this part in the app). For your information, on the cameras connected to my NVRs, I can’t see the video stream when using the admin account — it’s completely black. This appears to be an intentional limitation implemented by Hikvision. → Use a different account, at least an operator account, with the correct permissions.
Regarding the doorbell, I’ve seen your feedback but I don’t understand it. At the moment, without the equipment, I’m a bit in the dark and don’t know how to proceed…
Doorstation is installed correctly. The only thing is in homey I can put it on and off but I I want to go into the doorbell button, by holding the button, the app crashed and disappeared from my screen.(iPhone)
When I push on my doorbell the HikVision app works but homey flow is not triggered.
So if I understand correctly, when you press the button on your doorbell, a notification appears on the device (a small badge), but the flow does not get triggered?
Is that correct?
By any chance, have you tried using the event flow instead of the doorbell flow? If not, could you try it and let me know the name of the event that gets triggered?
When I press the button on the doorstation the HikVision app is triggered. In Homey happens nothing. I tried also the generic device but also that doesn’t trigger anything in Homey.
The flow should trigger a chime, if I test the flow it works of course. In below you see the screen shot of the on flow, so when the device in Homey is turned on, then it works.
My set-up is probably not fully adequate. I do not get any events. I expect this to be a network issue on my side though. I will look into port forwarding to fix this. Unfortunately, I cannot provide any usefull information right now.
