I just published a new Homey app for Hikvision NVR/DVR recorders and I’m looking for testers.
Unlike the existing Hikvision app, this one is built recorder-first: it enumerates every analog and IP channel behind your DVR/NVR automatically (no adding cameras one by one), and adds things that don’t exist elsewhere — arm/disarm with full per-channel state restore, HDD health monitoring, a working alertStream event pipeline including doorbell button presses, and a one-tap fix for the most common reason recorder events silently stop arriving (a missing “Notify Surveillance Center” link on the recorder).
It doesn’t replace [App][Pro] HikVision — that one’s great for direct/standalone cameras. This one specifically targets people running their cameras through a DVR or NVR, where live view and events through the recorder haven’t worked before.
Flow cards: motion/line-crossing/intrusion/region triggers and conditions, arm/disarm actions, HDD-healthy condition, take a snapshot, PTZ, and more.
If you’ve got a Hikvision recorder, I’d genuinely appreciate feedback — especially on pairing and on any recorder model/firmware I haven’t tested against yet.
