Unfortunately for me, the app was rejected by homey team as there is already a Frigate NVR app in their app store that works differently.

They prefer to have one app per brand.

Well crap, the app that is already available does not work well at all

I contacted the dev of the existing frigate nvr to check if we can replace his app with mine or if I can take over the project. I will update this thread if I have some news to provide.

I have installed it. One comment and one question.

It would be best if you could install all cameras at one time instead of having to setup each individually.

The question is how do you get the snapshot once a review event has occurred

I have it kind of working, this is my flow. But is detecting everything as a car

v1.0.1 available for test, the device name is a tag of the detected trigger and the snapshot shows the detection box. You should be able to do a simplied flow like this one with email instead of the notification of course.

v1.0.2 i splitted the latest snapshot of the latest object detection type (eg. person, car, cat etc…)

So from the flow point of view, you should be able to select the latest person for example:

v1.0.3, added a close to live stream option (at default 500ms) that can be configured on the device as long as there is a frigate_local_url.

It is also possible to import multiple frigate camera at once.

How do I update an experimental version

Just go to the same page as where you installed it:

Frigate NVR | Homey

And click “Install app” again, it then installs the latest version (your data/settings will stay)

Apparently you did already upgrade to 1.0.3.

I did after you sent instructions. It seems to be working better. One change would be to have a When card that is activated by any camera

Also, I am getting 2 different emails for each detection. Is there a way to filter out all but one?

V1.0.4, fix the trigger issue and implements a app level trigger with the device name and the snaphot image. I did a quite test but let me know if you have an issue.

Think there may be an issue with multiple events firing still.

could you share your flow ? I am not able to reproduce the error with my hardware.

Sure here you go. I had a worker at my house but he should not have been causing all of that. I disabled the flow but just re-enabled it so will see what happens now.
