So again I did some investigation on the following:
- [Feature Request] alarm delay (beeping sound) before alarm goes off
- [Feature Request] Fix restart Homebase flowcard
But it seems like i’m unable to fix this. I tried a lot of different things. But not possible. I do expect the 2nd point will be possible in the future. But the alarm beeping is something which is hidden somewhere inside the flow logic of Eufy. : (
Thanks for trying Martijn. I have already replaced my aqara frontdoor sensor with an Eufy door sensor so that fixed the beeping sound for me.
About restarting the homebase, I do that very little so if needed J do that from within the Eufy app.

@martijnpoppen would it be possible to add the feature to turn on/off motion detection via homey?
I would like to use it in the following way: when any family member is at home then a notification/trigger is only needed on button press, (ringing the bell)
However when nobody is at home then I also want to be notified of motion near my front door.

Yes that’s possible.
What I would do:
In the official Eufy app
- create 2 Security modes. (home & away)
- for home you disable push notifications
- for away you enable push notifications
In Homey:
- trigger the Security modes based on on home/away.
- like this Shared Flow | Homey
You can find that card in the Homebase
Don’t have a homebase. Just the wireless battery powered doorbell and a chime.
I could use the geofencing in the official Eufy App but then this only works with me personally being home or away
Can you send me a report maybe?

Have installed the test version and was able to add the homebase chime device.
In the device i can see that i can change the security mode.
So I created a ‘test flow ‘ to test changing the security mode but it does not seem to work.
In the flow card that changes the security mode i get this rotating circle that the action is pending.
Can you share a report?
