@DoctorBazinga and settings are like FAQ q1? [APP][Pro] Eufy Security - #4 by martijnpoppen - Apps - Homey Community Forum

You were right. The notification wasn’t/isn’t enabled when in the ā€œ(@)Homeā€ setting these two c210 cameras are. :person_facepalming:t2:

My apologies.

May I ask what the Snooze function is ?
I thought the ā€œPrivacyā€ mode but apparently its not.
And on/of also a little different (more advanced) as only enabling the privacy mode on one specific camera.

I’d like to be able to enable & disable Privacy mode on a certain/specific camera and additionally if possible also for a certain time period.

Thank you.

Certain events in some rooms shouldn’t be recorded ir even seen.

@DoctorBazinga what do you mean with privacy mode?

The snooze function is the same as the bell icon you see on every camera in the eufy app

Apparently turning on the ā€œprivacy modeā€ like pushing on the eye :eye: icon in the top left corner of a cemera in the Eufy is the same like turning off the camera in your Eufy Security Homey Pro app.

At least it’s outcome/result is the same.

But U still have to test it. Not yet sure its tye same state/mode/function for 100%.

Black Iphonitis rigorosa : level 15+

@DoctorBazinga yep that’s the same. on older models of eufy cameras it was on/off. nowadays it’s privacy mode. in the end it’s the same thing, you jus turn it off :stuck_out_tongue:

But still weird is that I couldn’t turn it on / turn iff the privacy mode in the Eufy app on the camera after enabling it /turningbit off in a flow by your Eufy Security Homey Pro app.

That at least was my problem before I went to sleep last night.

Maybe a temporary malfunction somewhere because just an hour ago it worked via the Eufy app. :person_shrugging:t2:
(

So a little doubt/weird feeling here if its still 109% the same. :person_shrugging:t2:

@DoctorBazinga sorry i don’t really get the issue. can you elaborate a bit more please?

Sorry Need to test/check it more myself. Probably tonight or next few days.

Not home right now.

///// someting else ///

What’s about the function/feature to set/select one of the 4 preset (in the Eufy app) camera positions of a pan/tilt camera ?? Possible (by api etc. ) ??

All 4 different pan/tilt models have these 4 configurable (in the Eufy app itself) camera presets/positions.
Would be nice if an external trigger like a externak motion or door-/window contact sensor could change the camera position an point its view into the right direction.

/////

@DoctorBazinga there’s currently no option to trigger the pre defined positions.
Already tried last year with the S350 but not possible

Dear Martijn,
Cheers for the incredible job (as always!), I’ve tested the s3 pro on the test version and so far so good, I’ll come back the upcoming days if something out of the ordinary appears. 2 minor things though:

  1. Still not able to add any eufy-cam to the zone activity other than my E340 doorbell, not sure if you remember that I mentioned this in my comment, I’ve reinstalled all the cameras and tried to repair/restart app, but to no avail, any tips?
  2. After I installed the test-version I could not add the s3 pro, the loader was just spinning. Tried to reload the app but still the same. After restarting Homey it worked instantly though, just something to keep in mind if anyone else sees the same problem.

Once again, thanks for your work. I’m really grateful.
All the best,
Zack

Hi. Can’t for the life of me get this integration working at all. I have an E340 Doorbell - battery version on a Homey Pro that’s now 2 days old

I’ve linked the doorbell to the app on my phone and I get notifications as I expect. I’ve created a new admin account and used my partners phone to log in with that account and accepted the device share. When the doorbell rings we get notified on either phone, so the device is seemingly linked properly.

I’ve installed v3.30.4 of the Eufy Security app. I go to Add Device, select Eufy Security, Select the Doorbell, complete the login (as the new admin user - it’s logged out of my partners phone and EU region - we’re UK), then the Captcha, then it will just error with no devices found.

Any idea what I’m doing wrong?

@MikeyTT are you selecting the Dual battery doorbell as device?

Hi, yes, it’s the 3rd one along

@MikeyTT please send a diagnostic report
After trying to pair so I can see the error

Done. Thanks: 31a7d1b1-fe8b-4e8b-beb6-b79cc8c24ade

I’m signing off shortly, so no rush at all. Thanks…

@MikeyTT hmm I see to many incorrect password attempts and now your IP is blocked. This most of time is for 12 hours. So hold it off for now and try again tomorrow

And make sure to check your login

Oh, interesting. I use Bitwarden, so I’m surprised it was wrong. Certainly didn’t tell me it was
I’ll check tomorrow eve. Thanks for the prompt help.
