[APP][Pro] Eufy Clean

Hi @martijnpoppen, thanks for building this app.

In the Eufy app, there’s an option via Eufy Lab to detect when the water tank is removed, so the vacuum assumes the tank is full when it’s replaced. I’m wondering if it’s possible to add a similar capability directly in the Homey EufyClean app. While this could be implemented using a door sensor, it would be great to see this functionality integrated. Is this something that is possible for a future update?

Device: X10 Pro Omni

@Hasse_Z Thanks
Currently there’s no support for the base station / water tank options.

Maybe later but until know i haven’t found a way to do this

Ok, thanks for super fast response!

This is exactly what I want to achieve as well. But I’m stuck configuring this.

I have a mesh wifi all troughout the house with 2.4 ghz capability. Have the correct password and able to get to this screen, but it doesnt find the device. The eufy app on my iPhone works fine, so the S1 pro is connected correctly on the network.

Are there some steps somewhere maybe to debug why I can’t find the vacuum?

In any case, very cool that you guys made a community app here. Why Eufy isn’t reaching out to you guys for full on support building this out is beyond me (if that didnt happen already  ).

@Joppiesaus Make sure to remove any special charachters from your password. The tuya api doesn’t really like that.

Thanks, however, there’s only one developer here who made the integration

You mean the password in the eufy app I use to connect with? If so, that might be a tricky endevour

@Joppiesaus oh interesting. I know a @ works for sure

I keep running into a problem.

As far as I can see, there is no way to set whether the robot vacuum cleaner will clean in “general” or “custom” mode.

If I set the floor plan to “custom”, it will clean in the custom mode the next time, but as soon as it is finished, the floor plan jumps back to “general”.
In the flow, I use the command “start vacuuming”.

Do you also have this problem and if so, is there a solution so that the floor plan stays in “custom” mode instead of switching back to “general” every time?

This is the difference between the 2 modes, all i want is that it cleans a surface twice instead of once. And in the “general” mode it cleans the surface only once:

@Rembo038 yes make sure to set the type of cleaning with the other flow card before you start cleaning

Brilliant. This actually worked. I would never have found this one myself . Thanks

I don’t quite get it, this is what the flow looks like now:

You mean this by type of cleaning? Because i cant choose general or custom mode.
And my robotvacuum doesnt have a mop function, i have the Eufy L60SES:

@Rembo038 there’s no way to change that from homey

ah okay, what do I need to set in the flow so that the map does not always jump back to “general”, can you show an example flow of that?

@Rembo038 I have no idea.

@martijnpoppen Because you said this as a reaction to the question about the map constantly changing from custom to general after a cleaning cycle

‘‘yes make sure to set the type of cleaning with the other flow card before you start cleaning’’’

So i thought you meant change something in your flow so that the map stays on custom after a cleanup instead of changing back to general every time

@Rembo038 I thought that might be the fix but you already tried that and it doesn’t seem to be the fix
So no idea

@martijnpoppen Ah okay, its not a big problem. So once a week ik will set the floorplan manualy from general to custom, than once a week the home is cleaned twice.

Thanks!

@martijnpoppen i am planning to buy a eufy omni c20 vacuum, but i don’t see it on the list! Will this one work in homey or not? And are you planning to add this one?

@Peter_Heemskerk should already work, but didn’t have users yet with that robovac, so maybe it needs some config.

I can’t add it without access to such a device

@martijnpoppen Are there also plans to merge the Eufy Security app with the Eufy Clean app, similar to the official Eufy app?
