Problem is, if the type of field is selected through a dropdown, i cannot alter the Show As values. So all fields would have all options, no way around that.
And i donât think that that would be more clear.
But we are trying to solve the Device Settings Android Mobile App Bug with athom, see my PM.

No, please keep the 10 fields pr. type. Or make it dynamic if thatâs possible so you can add one more of whichever field type you need and only have a list of the fields you use.

If i could have had any possibilities to make settings dynamic in any way, i would have done that.
But for the time being, i can only create settings completly static before release, i cannot alter them in Homey itself. I will keep trying tho

Okay, in develop (almost in Test) we have got it back to this now:
During creation:
Just pick a icon or upload it, it doesnât matter.
Then in App Settings:
Clickâ>
And here you can again pick from default or upload.
Only this deviceâs icon will change, not another, and you can have as many devices if you would like.

Question:
Should i replace all mentions of the word Capability from settings and AVD (and iconlist) with the word Field?
In Test now, the new way of device icons: each device has its own icon.
Also, worked on more clear text in Pairing/creating a device and App Settings.
Please let me know if its more clear and easier now.
No biggie, I work a lot with the mobile app, so my finger wears from all the scrolling 
But itâs all personal taste.
And⊠the colors per field type are a nice addition!

I am looking into using repair, instead of Device Setting, to replace the settings.
This would give me âcompleteâ freedom in how to build the screen up.

I think it is very OK this way.
One thing, many peeps donât know they can even hit/click a blue colored text, so Iâm not sure if these links needs an extra > in front, or click me or someting like that, added to it?
And maybe change âFunctionsâ into âYour functionsâ

If you want to check out the new Device Settings (just to see, not to edit yet), install the test version (it still works normal, nothing is removed, its all good) and click on repair
It should allready show you all correct settings you have allready!
And icon names etc

notice that lately there is a lot of struggle with Android 12 app in the settings of the vd devices. sometimes it wonât scroll all the way.

Could it be a possibility to reverse number and text in status ? sometimes it looks even tighter. Example of thermostat mode and then the set temperature behind it.
