[APP][Pro] Device Capabilities - Enhance the capabilities of devices

Thanks, fixed it in the next test version.

And it kind of looks like the tag isn’t created (text capability) without the extra capability, but that might be a migration issue too.

What do you mean? If i create a textfield with a tag but not separate, i only have one .text1 capability:

As soon as i set it to Create Separate Capabilities, i get:

Yes he does it again
that buggy expression card.

Fixed in current Test version. You can manually update to fix the issue faster.

I would actually like to include 20 more custom (default filled) icons before final release.

Does everyone agree the should be placed at the category Devices?

The tag just wasn’t available in the tags.
But that’s also why i said that it might be a migration issue, probably not a lot of people will have this.

Try changing a field name and press save in device settings, it should remake it accourding to the current settings.

Okay, new version just in test and submitted for review.
If you have another bug, let me know.

If you use the expression card, the text is executed as javascript. The {{ and }} are not needed.

@Peter_Kawa do you see all settings in the mobile app?
Or just till numberfield 6?

Hi Arie, thanks for all the efforts.
Running v2.0.5

In the end, after quite some time and some go-back and open Advanced settings again, I can scroll 'till the end. Screenvid:

Hi, and thank you for this app. Its the best thing since sliced bread!
I’m using the latest test version, v2.0.5.
Is there a limit to how many, or which type of fields you can set as status indicator?
I have one device with a mix of text, numeric and yes/no fields, but only the numeric ones can be selected as status indicator.

Same here.
I’ve just added this to the supportticket at Athom.

Device Capabilities 2.0 App voor Homey | Homey
It’s live!

P.s. What would be really great is a app-review after these 2,5 years

The new HOOP should be in the HCS now. Sorry it took so long but Max had to fix some server issue.

No worries and many thanks Adrian!

Thanks guys, it was worth the wait.
I now have a Homey Advanced Pro :white_check_mark:

I made a small showcase

Now it's possible to change Device Name as well!

This can be achieved by installing the H.O.O.P. app v1.4.5
That’s it, the flow card to set the device name is now available.

  • With Advanced flow:
  • Standard Flow

Thats Homey default.
Status indicators show a value, and the capability for it, say, kWh.

So a plain textfield can’t be selected as Status indicator.
However, it is shown on the web app device tiles though, while they are able to show all fields.

So, the magic Arie did here, is:
Make the status indicator’s capability part editable!

So, at ‘Number’ you enter a fake value, like 0. At ‘Text’ you can enter your text you want to be shown.
What you really do “under water”, is entering a custom capability name :upside_down_face:

Use this card:

Take a look at the flow at my previous post.

Actually, it’s not it’s name (see the Sensor tab and the name is shown there, the same as in the Settings).
It sets the Units-label for the selected number

There is a bug in the current Set Zones cards. It is solved in the current Test version (which is allready submitted for review).

Yes, I’m using this way now. It just doesn’t look so clean with that random number in front.
And it made me wonder since, i.e. the Kodi app can have play and pause symbol when you play something. Lamps can have a ball off different colors. My door have a lock symbol, and then there are the battery symbols. So somehow it is possible to not only have numbers as status indicator. I haven’t seen any with only text though.
