Even without selecting a flow it should fill the TEF field
Did you try app restart? Or even a Homey restart? Or even a Homey powerdown for 10 minutes?

Peter, thanks for your assistance.![]()
I tried app restart and Homey restart (powerdown) - the TEF field still stays empty.
Is there any special browser setting required (I tried with Edge and Google Chrome)?
Or do I need to create a device from “Device capabilities” before or apply some special settings?
YW, Ed.
Not that I know of. Works with Chrome / Firefox / Edge @ Android.
Does it show any flows to select?
Did you try it with the mobile app as well?
...More > Settings > Apps > Device Capabilities
Did you try to re-install the app? Don’t remove anything, just go to
https://homey.app/a/nl.qluster-it.DeviceCapabilities/ and tap “Install”
.
Not that I know of.
Now I’m on step further by deleting some parts of the flow to be exported: There is now some text appearing in TEF window:
“[tef:UNKNOWN:“H4sIAAAAAAACA6tWSlSyio6tBQCNLU1qCAAAAA==”:/tef]”
What is the meaning, how can I fix it?
Are there some cards types that cannot be exported?
That’s the TEF I got when not selecting any flow, see my screenshot in an earlier post.
Can you test with any other (very simple) flow?
Note: flows needs to be enabled (like, you can enable/disable them in the flow editor).
Peter,
thank you, well understood.
Meanwhile I deleted stepwise some cards and following this path I found the ones that are “blocking” the export:
Logic cards of type “set variable x to value y” and “calculate x as y” are causing an empty TEF window.
Any idea why and how to avoid this?
Somehow my AVD doesn’t seem to update anymore ?
Issue started last week, suck since Jan 25 at 12:00 , only to adjust after the reboot last evening ?
Oh, that should not be a problem, sounds like a bug.
Unfortunately we’ll have to wait until dev Arie has the possibility to work on the app.
I have just installed this app for trying to make one device for monitoring all my battery devices, and making one single flow for sending push notification when the battery level is low. I have a wast number of Aqara devices, and don’t want notifications for sudden drops in battery level.
For example I make a flow with these cards. The Device should then be all my battery devices and the capability should be batterystatus. And hopefully I can retrive which sensorname from a tag in the next card. Not sure if this is possible, but I’m hoping…
The problem is that I cant add a unit from Device Capabilities. I get the error as shown below when I click Device Capabilites after clicking add units in the main window. Also the green Connect button doesnt work. Anyone experienced this issue?
Shall be fixed as per confirmation from Athom…
To add devices, use the mobile app for now.
Concerning your plan:
That D.C. card is for one devices’ capability.
To catch all, use this onboard trigger and filters, and add a 15 minutes blind time by using a timer.
It’ll report the actual device name, sensor name, sensor value and zone:
You’ll find the trigger card in the root of the zone folder:
Thanks. I ended up with this solution yesterday. Just need some tweaking with the duration of the ignore time. Until now the battery warning has been somewhere around 10-15 minutes. But yesterday one of my sensors had the alarm for an hour. ![]()
