I think that is fully possible, Skoda, VW and Seat are using the same APIs. But depending on car type (Electric, ICE etc) there are a choice that needs to be made. This is at least have the guys at iobroker solved it:
I heard some rumours that VW will enhance the app in about two months, to include more information about the car and also implement more features (like locking the car remoteley etc). That is what I was looking for!

On my 2020 Seat i’m already able to remotely lock and unlock?
What car do you have, if I may ask?
There are not the same functionality when it comes to WE Connect ID than “older” cars have. The EVs do not have that, yet. By “older” cars I mean ICE/hybrids that use the old app.
My ID.3 have a new app where all functionality isn’t implemented yet
sadly the Golf GTE does not have the remote locking either. (and is not connected to homey yet…)

I have the same issues with the Seat app. It’s slow (takes about 25s to fully start up 
), it doesn’t give an push message when you leave the windows and/or doors open.
It feels like VAG had to rush!
Yeah, I can preheat the car and adjust the timers. I can see the state of charge and the distance left, but that is pretty much it.
I would like to be able to see if it is locked, if the windows are down etc, and also the mileage. Pretty basic stuff…
Since I don’t have an EV I can’t see the battery stuff. I can see (un)locked doors, windows, mileage, warning/error messages, average fuel economy and make the car horn.
However since mine is a 08-2020 I can’t send an location from my phone to the car
@peltsi51, can you still start the preheater? My flow seems to be working, since the status in iobroker changes, but the preheater don’t start.
If I manually change the status in iobroker, it starts though.
Quite weird.
VW today updated their We Connect ID https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.volkswagen.weconnect&hl=en_US&gl=US and I see also new version of iobroker.vw-connect - npm… since VW updated their app, I can’t control remotely AirCondition and also the old We Connect doesn’t work…
