Easily control your Deluxe Homeart LED candles with Homey! This app uses IR signals to turn your candles on and off and adjust various settings. Thanks to the integration with Homey, you can automate your candles and link them to flows for the perfect ambiance at home.

Create a warm and cozy atmosphere with Homey and your favorite Deluxe Homeart candles!
The app uses IR signals to mimic the remote control commands of Deluxe Homeart LED candles.
Make sure your Homey is placed near the candles, the candles are visible to Homey, and the Homey IR transmitter is not obstructed.

The flickering you’re seeing happens because the candles briefly respond when they receive an IR command. This is normal behavior and confirms that the signal was received.
To improve reliability, the app currently sends each command multiple times (up to 3 times) with a small delay in between. This ensures that if the first signal should not arrive correctly, a backup signal is sent. However, if multiple commands (on/off/timer) are triggered in quick succession, the candles may receive overlapping signals, causing them to turn on and off unexpectedly.
I recommend waiting a few seconds before sending a new command to allow the previous command (including all IR signals) to fully complete.
I’m considering adding an option for users to adjust the number of times a command is sent. This would give you more control over the IR signal behavior and help fine-tune it to your setup.

Great to hear! I’ve now built and implemented the option to adjust both the number of times a command is sent and the delay between commands. This should give you more control over how the IR signals are handled and help fine-tune the behavior for your setup.
Would you be able to test it and let me know if it improves the experience for you?
Could you try adjusting the ‘send command’ setting in the device settings? This allows the device to automatically send multiple commands per button click, so you can choose how many times the IR signal is transmitted. Sometimes, sending the signal a few more times helps ensure all devices turn on or off correctly.
