Anybody have an idea how to make the spacing better in the left “card”? When I create this using only on column of sensorvalues the insights become too unreadable (imo), when having less sections on the page - thus wider insights - the values are too “spaced out” (see right section)
(Temperatuur .. . . . . . . . . . . .. .. . .. . . . . .. . . . . .. . . . .. . . . . . . . . .. . 22*C)
So I created a section with two colums for sensorvalues, but in the left section, the values of the first column are too close to the description of the second column. I can give the sections that hold the two columns of sensors a larger gap, but this only increases the space between lines.
I would need to place something inbetween the two sections that hold the sensorvalues
You’re just being overly dramatic. You should refrain from using any community app in the future if that the way you see it. Please stop being so negative . Nobody is responsible for your lost hours except yourself since you were well aware that this was a alpha/beta app.
You have announced several times now that you will not return here. Please do what you promise, or don’t be so negative.
edit: just a tip, maybe make you dashboards a bit simpeler… the whole idea of a dashboard is that it provides you with highlevel information and not control everything you can possibly imagine. Your dashboard was an unreadable clutter imo. Please don’t respond to this, take the tip or don’t… it’s just my opinion.
@skogsaas so now I have a fairly nice dashboard, but I’m having issues with updates. I’m running the dashboard on a LG tab with Fully Browser, but most of the time not all (or none) of the values are updated. I need to refresh the page (which sometimes takes too long) to see updated values. A lot of the time some values are updated, some are not.
So instead of just a quick view of the status of my home, I’m waiting watching the infinitysymbol…
How many times did you now tell us here, that you no longer will use it … and still complaining and complaining.
Yes, the dashboard has some (many ) flaws … yes I also would have preferred to keep the old until the new one is bug free …
but: no one forces you to use it … Homey is not responsible for community apps. And @skogsaas puts his free time into this project without charging anything to anyone … so what the hell are you complaining about???
If you are not satisfied with the work of @skogsaas , use another dashboard (from Homey or any other community app providers), but stop bugging everyone here.
Maybe you noticed in my posts, that I also think there are many things than can be improved (bugs, features) … but unlike you I constructively give feedback rather than complaining. Secretly I also may be imaptient … but I’m pretty sure @skogsaas has (unlike you?) a family life, has some “real” work, and maybe also needs some time for himself. So I appreciate any new developments, even if they take some time.
Sorry, but I had to say this - seeing how ungrateful you are to some guy who contributes some great work for free.
@skogsaas still the best dashboard for Homey out there (despite all the flaws)
The developer has explained multiple times, you’re embarrassing yourself by posting the same complaints over and over for such a long time…
Community developers owe us nothing at all, and they can change their apps as they please.
You seem to forget the app developer is very much improving the app, which may ruin your initial setup in some cases. And now it was your turn to bite the dust.
That’s just IT and Domotica, there’s times we have to migrate, move to another system/app/application and start over.
This will never change.
Please stop your shameless complaining, Theo, and move on. You lost.
Thanks.
