All good for you as well?
Hi,
I have problems with the detached switching:
I have a few Shelly relays (like shelly 1 mini gen 3) that are currently physically switching smart lights (e.g., Shelly GU10, Wiz), but Iâd like to decouple the switching and control everything via Homey over the local Wi-Fi network.
In the Shelly app, I tested the âdetachedâ mode with a GU10 spot, and it works as expected. However, I have a room with over 20 LEDs, and I also need to control a few 3rd-party devices.
All devices have fixed IP addresses and are added to Homey. I can control both the relays and the lights from the Homey app and via flows.
The issue is: when the wall switch is pressed in âdetachedâ mode, it doesnât trigger anything in Homey â the lights donât respond.
I tried using a webhook from the Shelly to trigger a Homey flow, and it worked.
So I started setting up the next room, but then it stopped working even in the first location.
When I open the webhook URL in a browser, it returns âOKâ (but the light donât change), the flow is triggered in Homey, in the shelly log appaers the switch action.
One thing Iâve managed to set up successfully: a long press on the switch directly toggles the relay (as a fallback) â in case Homey or the Wi-Fi network is down.
So⌠what am I missing? What could be going wrong?
The MQTT is hard for me at this step. So I would like to use it with this app, or with webhook.
Now it works with webhook.
The question marks â?â have somehow been transformed into â/â in shelly devices. So the webhook url was not correct.
But I donât know why donât work (or how can I use) this card
All my Shellys are no longer available since the last update of Homey pro, what can I do?
What do you mean by âno longer availableâ? Do the device tiles show a red exclamation mark?
Did you try to restart the Shelly app on your Homey?
You have a nice collection !
Hi,
I have also been running into problems with my Shelly devices not communicating back for example the temperature info to Homey, but I can still for example control switches on and off. No error messages are shown in Homey.
In the Shelly app (not the Shelly app in Homey) everything works as normal.
I have tried restarting the shelly app, the various sensors as well as power cycling my Homey and so far nothing has improve the situation.
update
All shellys were gone for more than a day both in Homey and in Shellyâs app, restarting the app or Homy had no effect.
Later in the day the devices started connecting one by one and after about 3 hours all the devices (18) were up and working.
Thatâs strange.
My Shelly H&T sensor is not always updating. In the picture you can see the last update was 24 days ago. Is there any setting to solve this?
Possible solutions:
I ended up removing all my H&T devices from Homey and adding them back. This seems to have fixed the problem, at least for now.
Thanks for the infoâŚi fear the device is âdeadâ. I put in a new battery but it didnât start blinking. Maybe it died because of the high temperatures in the greenhouse.
