Last night I updated my Homey Pro to the latest version 12.4.0 and problems started. Shelly Wave PM Mini doesnt update the power. When I restart my Homey power, readings (W) updates a few times but after that they don’t update.
Hi @chrb ,
I am not sure if I could help you, as I don’t have Shelly shutters.
But pleas look at your post and think a bit what you would think if someone asked you with that few informations, without seeing anything. It looks like “I did everything right and it doesn’t work! So what is wrong?”
So if you did everything right and it does not work, probably the device does not work and you have to return it.
From all the information you delivered, if you just have connected two wires with 7 connectors on the Shelly 2.5, it cannot work. Even for the motor there should be one wire for up, one for down and the neutral wire. You need at least one L wire and the switches should be connected.
If you pressed the tile it is strange, as I thought there should be one tile for up and one tile for down.
I’m not here to complain, but to help you ask questions so that someone who doesn’t know the situation can approach the problem. Especially since the members of this forum do this in their spare time.
Hi
I have a problem with som shelly motion wifi devices. It is possible to pair it with my homey pro, but the data from the sensors is not received. Any solution?
Hi,
I am new to Homey, currently testing cloud and planning to purchase Pro when I get it to work.
Added succesfully Shelly Pro 3EM but it does not display any values whatsoever. Another Shelly Plus 1 PM does work and shows all values.
Already tried trouble shooting steps as suggested like reboot, fixed IP, remove/add multiple times.
The 3EM would be key for my power management plans, so it would be great if someone could help
Thanks a lot

Seems that since one of the recent updates, my Shelly Wave Shutter (Z-Wave) can not control the blind anymore.
One of the symptoms that points me in the direction of the update, is that device calibration for example also does not start due to a missing calibration listener. Might be something “migration” related?
I bought some new devices (mini 1 gen 4) and dimmer gen 3.
They don’t seem to pair with homey. Any idea of when there will be support?
Please reach out to the developers to request support for these devices. Check out the first post:
Its the same for me. I have shelley app 3.41.1 and tried to install a brand new wave 1 mini. The app puts up a drawing of shelley wave 1 (mini) but it doesn’t look like my controller as it has angled corners and asks for an S button for inclusion. Alternatively I can choose shelly wave PM mini which looks right but that references the same instructions requiring an S button. Has anybody managed to install a wave 1 mini?
Problem solved! Use thee shelley wave 1 (mini) option, even though the drawing is wrong. Have the PIN number handy. Press the small (2mm) recessed button and follow the instructions from the app. The LED is very small and hard to see in a bright location
I use the Shelly dimmer in a flow, using “Dim to ”. After entering a tag as a parameter en closing and reopening the flow, the tag is disapeared and instead it shows <?tag> . The problem seemed not to be in the app but in the flow software and it was reproduced by Dorean and forwarded to the development team. However since 3 months I did not hear anything and the problem is still not solved. New requests are not answered. Somebody can help me out?
The previous version, dimmer 2, logged the state of inputs one and two. I use that to trigger certain flows.
However, despite having ‘as-tags’ like long-push 1, double push 2 etc, the dimmer gen 3 does not visibly log these input states and therefore will not execute the flow… am I missing something?
Homey pro 23, newest Shelly software and app version.
Anyone?
Two of my Shelly devices ran into issues where I was unable to log in because the password was suddenly incorrect — even though no one had changed it. I had to perform a factory reset on both devices to regain access.
I opened a support case with Shelly, and they claimed that the Homey integration was responsible for changing the password.
The integration worked for about one day on both affected Shelly 1 devices before it stopped. While troubleshooting, I discovered I couldn’t log in anymore, and a factory reset was the only solution.
According to the app info page, the Shelly integration is provided by Allterco Robotics, which is also the manufacturer of Shelly devices. However, Shelly support denies responsibility for this integration. Is this information incorrect?
Both affected devices were already running firmware version 1.5.1.
Shelly’s Homey app is maintained by Drenso (see also first post).
Suggest you reach out to them, via the indicated e-mail address. My experience is that they respond fairly quickly.
I’d like a verification…
Does Shelly Pro 1PM work? I need 2 din rail relays with metering. In separate units, because they are used to switch on/off power for car heating for 2 cars; which might be at different time, I am aware of products with 2 relays… But they seem to have only 1 button
Also, it’s easier to replace current Tuya versions, there’s 2 and they are single din.
Anyway, Shelly APP says that all wifi devices are supported. But as my journey with Homey has shown that everything isn’t always what it seems, so I decided to make sure before buying.. They are pretty expensive..
I do own multiple Shelly Pro 1PM, they work. Cheers.
Thanks, I already though purchased zwave versions instead.. Hopefully they work too.
Just wrapped up a successful pairing after Homey Pro refused to put my Shelly Plus 2PM into pairing mode. Hope this saves other Homey users some time—and sanity!
Please note that I have succesfully paired a Shelly plus 2PM and Shelly 1PM Mini Gen3 but the process will be similar for other Shelly smart switches as well.
What worked for me
- Install the Shelly app from the App Store / Google Play.
- Add the Shelly Plus 2PM in the Shelly app
- Use Bluetooth discovery (critical—no manual pairing mode needed).
- Open the Homey app → Add device → Shelly → Any Shelly Wi-Fi Device.
- Homey will automatically find any Shelly devices already connected to your Wi-Fi via the Shelly app.
That’s it—done and dusted. Good luck, and happy automating!
Welcome on this forum Kivanc and thanks for sharing!
Thanks for your guidance .
As an alternative, if you don’t have or want to use the Shelly mobile app and its cloud services, you can also setup a Shelly WiFi device, by connecting to its WiFi access point (e.g. via a laptop or tablet). This access point is active if the device has never been set up or is reset.
After connecting to the access point, you can configure the device via its web portal (accessible on the IP address indicated in the manual), which includes connecting it to your WiFi.
Finally, after you have set up the device, you can add it via the Shelly app for Homey via step 3 in your instruction.
