Hello @Hans_Streng are you willing to share your scrips?
Sure, but be aware that it is purpose-built for my situation (ChargeAmps Dawn installed), so no warranty whatsoever that it works for other ChargeAmps producttypes; you will also need to maintain/update/debug the scripts yourself as I am only a layman in this codingfield..
To avoid lengthy posts I have listed the scripts in a pdf, let me know where I should email them to.
Best, Hans
I send you a PM with me E-mail adres and wil have look in to it. Also i hope that there will be a app someday
I have the API from Chargeamp and the app seems to work but not the kW and kWh-data. They are blank, no history. When the icons are pressed, the message: Last seen 56 years ago or something simular. I believe I have done the installations steps in the correct order, any ideas?
I have ChargeAmps Dawn
Please report your issue here:
Hello,
I deleted the app and downloaded it again, started all over so to say. Now it seems to work, I can atleast see kW and kWh now…
Would it be possible to get access to the Github repo? Would like to create some code so that the app would feed the Homey Energy Dashboard with data.
@Michael_Edholm you can ask / send @Borgen a message to take over the app. See post [APP][Pro] ChargeAmps - #205 by Borgen
Thanks Steven.
Although I don’t have the time to maintain such an App.
I can assist on a one–off development but not commit longterm to maintain it.
Sorry.
@Borgen

All,
I have made an effort in trying to fix what most people are asking for, the Energypanel possibilities. But also had to make a major update of the code structure.
So there is an 5.0.0 version in TEST released now, most likely it will come a 5.0.1 later today (or tomorrow) with some fine-tuning.
BUT!!! This version are NOT BACKWARD compatible, so you MUST remove any ChargeAmps devices from your Homey and then re-add them again.
BUT #2!! I don’t have access to a ChargeAmps charger anymore, so this and any future releases will be totally untested from my side.
5.0.1 released in TEST. Only contains minor code structure changes.
Same remarks as for 5.0.0:
- This version are NOT BACKWARD compatible, so you MUST remove any ChargeAmps devices from your Homey and then re-add them again.
2. I don’t have access to a ChargeAmps charger anymore, so this and any future releases will be totally untested from my side.
Hi @Borgs i installed the test app and everthing seems to work, but give me some time for testing
Thanks! It looks great ![]()

Thanks for the feedback. There are most likely some bugs as I can’t test it myself. But good to hear that ‘basics’ works at least.
@Frank_van_leeuwen @Michael_Edholm @Goliath @Bjorn_Rohl @Steven_Bareman @Daniel_Lofgren
All, as soon as I get confirmation that basic functionality work and that the ChargeAms charger gets visible in the EnergyPanel I will push this release from TEST to OFFICIAL RELEASE.
Once that is done I have a big re-write of the code which also should close out many of the issues that users have seen. It will address many minor issues that have been observed but also some major issues seen, one example issues if user have two or more devices.
This 5.1.0 will be released in TEST once 5.0.X are in OFFICIAL RELEASE.
Hi Borgs
Maybe a strange question but where can I find the test version so I can help out and try?
Björn
On this link:
(or the App´s page in Homeys “Appstore” and there press “changelogg” and in the changelogg press the “orange” 'Test")
I don’t know if it is a bug or normal, but I didn’t see when I was charging that there was a light trace to the charger in the energy screen. I saw there was from the solar panels to the inverter in to de house and grid. It is not a big issue.
That sound more like an Homey issue and not in my ChargeAmps App.
but positive to hear that charging is working and is displayed in the Energypanel.
Thanks for the feedback!
