You can control the max. charge amperage, which does the trick. 1 or 3 phase is not relevant
It is relevant, lowest setting for 3 phase is about 4,1 kw and that is too much at daytime when combined with other consumers, that will cost about 400⬠a year extra. If you could control ampere per phase this should be doable, this happens today if load balancer hits max for 1 phase.
All,
Sorry that I have been unavailable for a long period of time, to much other stuff going on in my life at the momentā¦
For this App/project I am now looking for someone else to take over the development, I will in a few months be moving and no longer have access to a ChargeAmps device which is vital to be able to test and develop this app.
I have actually reached out to ChargeAmps and asked them if they wanted to take over the app, but got no response back from them. Then a few months later I was contacted by a representative from Homey who had talked to ChargeAmps at a trade show, he asked if ChargeAmps could support the development work in any way, but when i said I wanted to hand over the App to ChargeAmps that dialogue died out as well.
So if anyone is interested in taking over the development work of this App please reach out in a PM here.
IF I find time I will try to implement some fixes for things reported during the last couple of months and if no one shows interest in taking over the development work I will try to maintain the App, but will become challenging without access to a ChargeAmps device.
It is not possible to implement control of the load balancer, it canāt be done in ChargeAmps native iPhone/Android app and not though their Web interface either. So there is no way to control the load balancer as far as I can see.
No, as far as I am aware there are no way to communicate with the ChargeAmps LoadBalancer
Maybe you could support in this? Internally at Athom or with other community members you are in close contact with?
Personally, Iād be happy to assist with remote testing of the app. I just have zero experience in programming (but I do have experience in testing in collaboration with a developer).
I can also assist with testing. I understand you rather want the hardware, but if we can provide you the testing remotely maybe it solves the immediate need where thing have stopped working.
Hopefully someone can take over later on. Iām no developer unfortunately
Anyone else getting āFailed to log in to ChargeAmps APIā since a few days back? Iāve tried restarting the app with no results.
Is this app ādeadā? I canāt connect my Halo⦠got the API key from ChargeAmps and tried several timesā¦
Still working here with a Halo
Hi
I have the energy dongle on my homey pro 2023 BUT the EV charger does not show in the energy tab!
I reached out to Homey but they said I need to reach out to you ![]()
The had no support for my Charge Amp Halo in the energy tab!
Would have been nice to see it here as they show on the Homey webpage.
Any thoughts about adding this?
Best Regards
Bjƶrn
That would be verry nice and everybody would like that! But see post: [APP][Pro] ChargeAmps - #192 by Borgen
Ahh
Thatās no good!
Bjƶrn
I believe given the long period of waiting we can consider this app to be dead ![]()
itās very unfortunate that none can take over.
All,
Iām truly sorry for this ![]()
I donāt have access to a ChargeAmps charger any more and doing development and bug fixing without that is more or less impossible (at least for me).
Basic functionality should still work for the App, login problem that some have seen are most likely related to using wrong username/password/token (have seen a few error reports pointing to incorrect username/password).
Again, truly sorry for this and if someone is willing to take over the responsibility for the development/maintenance of this App please reach out and we work out how to transfer the source code.
@Gal_Carmeli Interested in a new (joint) project? ![]()
@Steven_Bareman - thanks for the kind offer, but my hands are very much full these days. ![]()
I can help with testing
I have a chargeAmp Aura.
unfortunately right now its not picking up energy consumption anymore. its been like this now for 10 months. Basic function is still working,
Hi
Seems to have a strange problem. I have two HALO, they work perfectly when changing settings via the device in Homey. But if I want to change the down light on the HALOs using a flow, only one will be possible to change either on or off. If I remove the āfaultyā device and add it again it will work. But not the one that worked before.
It seems to only work with the last added device.
