[APP][Pro and Cloud] Daikin ONECTA

Yes, you can clear data in the energy tab.

And it is correct when you pair a Daikin unit dor the first time you see the year energy usage.
This should be gone after 24h..

It’s the way the energy works

Note: the meter_power capability must always be positive and ever-increasing (cumulative). Homey Energy calculates energy usage over a given period by analyzing the difference in this value over time. If meter_power capability values are periodically reset to zero or decrease unexpectedly, it may lead to data loss.

Thanks your solution worked. I did remove it. For me it did not disappear. It was still there after more then one week. Thanks for your help.

And there they are again… :frowning:

Hi, the app works great. However can you put the targettemperature for the heat pump boiler back? I know, I can’t edit it but can you put it only as read-only. I use the target temperature to see if the boiler is now heating the water or just keeping it warm.

Is still there…latest version released today.
Check under sensors.

But you can control the tank temperature if you set de heatupmode to reheat only.
You need to set this in the installer menu en restart the homey Daikin ONECTA app afterwards

And then you have also the targettemp back

Yes, I see it in the sensors, but I can’t use it in the flows. Before I used this in the flows.

If I want to start a flow, I don’t have the option anymore to choose “Target temperature has changed”. I used this flow and the tag target temperature to determine whether the system is heating or keeping warm for my dashboard.

It’s now only available and controlable in heatupmode reheatonly…this was a bug because when in other heatupmodes when you changed it , it trows a 400 bad request and blocking the whole device.

because of the bug you could abuse the targettemperature in a flow to read this value.
This is now solved so if you want it , set the heatupmode to reheatonly

Hey I was finally able to reconfigure my heatpump altherma 3 hotwater tank to only work in reheat mode allowing me to modify the temperature from within Homey. However 3/4 times I still get the 400 bad request message. I there some way to see what is going wrong ?

Hopefully, restart the homey daikin app and send a diagnosticreport.

then, try to reproduce a 400 error and then send antoher diagnostic report.

please report both diagnostic id’s in a PM to me

Hello,
Sorry if this is slightly off topic but I am having a 252 error on my Stylish split which stops and restarts after a few minutes. 252 is an undocumented error so I was wondering if anyone knows about it

Since the last update (I think), the temperature selector is not becoming active again after going from Fan Only mode to Cooling for example.

Even after restarting the app it’s not selectable.
I’m using a FBA50A9
Fyi 4772ce69-dd84-4b67-9ffd-cfe6590dc996

Something the mobile app “hangs” when switching( when switching operationmode some capabiltyoptions will be set)
You need to go back to the device overview en reopen the device again.

This is not a problem of the Daikin ONECTA app, please contact Athom.

Hi Mickel,

I already tried to restart app, forced closed the Homey app, so obviously reopened the device, but still no temperature setting possible. I’ll get in touch with Athom also but I already know what they’re going to say .

Yeay, FYI..

Below the funcitons that will be runned when changing te operationmode.

Basicly locking the temperature dial in dry and fan mode by setting the min/max to current (target/temperature).
When switching to other operation mode the min/max is sets back to what comes from daikincloud..

Fixed in version 6.0.16 now live.
Adding StepValue 1 to the temperature setting on the hotwatertank as this is Daikins default(all other results in a 400 Bad request)

Hi Mickel,
Thanks for this great app! I’m a little confused though. I have altherma 3 heatpump and heatupmode of the hotwatertank is set to reheatonly. Should it now be possible to control the temperature of the hotwatertank via homey?

Mr Luiten,

Have been enjoying this app for some time. My thanks. However since the latest (or some) updates back, devices default to “400 bad request” after 1 successful interaction. Either directly via the app/web interfaces or in flows.

Repairing or add/removing them will result in the same pattern; authenticate, device is OK, reading data works, 1 state change will work, but after that everything will be 400 bad request.

I’ve;

  • Repaired devices via web IF
  • Removed/added the devices
  • Replaced cards in the flows to be sure
  • Restarted the app

Diagnostic ID; 5d083a9a-fddd-417a-bb22-c39e860db0b7.

Help is appreciated! Bvd,

Yes, heatupmode - reheatonly is the good one, but there is also a settingg setpointmode that can be set on fixed or weatherdependent, , maybe this also need to change? not sure.

Good pratice is if you change something on you Altherma also restart the Homey App just to be sure.

Remove or disable any schedulues in the Daikin ONECTA app(android/iphone)
This overules any 3th party app and result in a 400 Bad Request.
