A little bit strange behavior: I had installed the App v.6.0.1 as experimental a few days ago. But wasn’t able to connect to the Alexa server. Yesterday I got the automatic update to v6.0.3. experimental. And everything works fine until today.
I decided to switch to the stable v.6.0.3. But after that the App is crashing after every restart.

mine now says App Unavalible and app settings is greayed out.
I was able to connect it last night and it worked the rest of the evening ![]()
Alexa App, nothing changed. Just logged in new.

May be the app has been retired, it cant be easy for the developer, I just wish Homey had some kind of DNLA Media Renderer like Smarthings or Hubitat, then our houses would speak and notify us again. Voice or TTS is really substandard or lack off in homey

As I mentioned, about four days ago I moved a few automations to Home Assistant for testing. With the help of ChatGPT — you just tell it what you want, and it writes the code for you — it was actually quite simple.
There, I’m using the official Alexa integration (app), the community Media Player integration, and for a few more complex flows I’ve implemented via Node-RED — which is quite similar to Homey Advanced Flow — I also installed the Red-Node Alexa extension.
Since then, I haven’t had a single disconnect that wasn’t due to my own fault.
So unfortunately, it has to be said that there definitely seems to be an issue with the Homey Alexa and/or Amazon Echo app and/or Athom itself. In my opinion, it’s unlikely to be Amazon’s fault, since the connection remains stable for other applications.
6.0.3 worked for a bit, now rather than disconnecting it’s consistently crashing.
