Just a heads up,
The connection issues are resolve int he test app, im currently testing a new version where I added some changes which could make the connection even more stable - but I am aware your all super sensitive to connections failing (in case it doesnt work) that so ill hold off releasing it.
The app deep integration into the media is still being worked on.
- It should display the current track, and album image - at the moment its just black.
- When you update the volume on the device it should be updated on homey to the correct volume
- Homey should correctly show when a speaker is playing - or not.
Ill fix up items 2 and 3 tomorrow, but I am struggling with item 1, as the websocket payload no longer includes the ‘device’ and its all hidden … I think I can solve it … but I think it will create a bit of a mess for people who play multiple song on multiple alexa devices….
