Ok, I will not test it. simple matter: I dont have a Homey early 2023.
Running the firmware update.
Verifying the firmware update.
Keeps verifyingā¦.

Didnāt work.
Now trying a full Factory reset.
Everything is working again for now.
BUT, putting it back in his own place, disconnect from laptop. And reconnect on itās own power source. Made the Alexa app crash and it keeps crashing.
Retry, firmware update.
And again keeps verifyingā¦.
Verifying wonāt end .
Factory reset worked, so try again.
Second try, after this reset. First set Homey on itās place and reload backup.

Then on itās own power supply and a backup restore.
Iām afraid that after a restart of Homey it wonāt work anymore.

This Is the first night it still works.
For two days it has been working on evenings and stoped working or started crashing at night.
Right now it still works. Hopefully it keeps workingš
I switched to this app which has been rock solid, does everything I need it to do, OK you don`t have all the different voices but its snappy and does the job. I figured out how to run commands āKettle onā amazon echo
Next morning Alexa app is still working.
It looks like, a factory reset, setting Homey back where it should on itās own power supply, and then a restore of a working backup, is doing the trick.
At least for me.
I tried to reconnect a couple days ago it worked and itās still connected. So I think the problem is resolved. I havenāt done anything specific apart reconnecting once.
Have just done the software update via computer, no change, did a factory restore and backup, no change for me still not working.

Did you restore an older backup or the latest.
I restored the oldest so i had a backup where i didnāt try so much to get Alexa working again.
Maybe that is why it works for me.
And did you restore the backup while homey was on your laptop or already on his own power supply ?

So I finally did a factory reset on my computer.
Then connected it back to his power supply.
Then I restored a backup.
Still doesnāt work ![]()

Out of solidarity for those still having issues, I restarted my Homey Pro last night and the app crashed after it restarted. I am to the thread and found this has been an ongoing issue. I live in the northeast US and the Amazon server us-1-east has been problematic recently so I thought changing servers might resolve the problem but no matter what Iāve done I continue to receive the error: undefined notification. Looks like Iāll be waiting patiently and checking in now and again ![]()
