I’ve been quite inactive lately. However, recently I fixed a bug that gave startup problems on the first initial installation when there was no settings written. It is amazing that all users likely experienced this as their first impression of the app and still there is almost 700 users
Definitely the application does not like the time change? last night the application had not taken the new time into account and started an hour later and this morning no store opened even an hour later…? On the other hand, there were no random triggers at midnight like during the last time change… I’m waiting tonight and tomorrow morning to see if everything is in order…
I am aware that the app missbehaves when there is daylight asving time changes. So far I have not had the time to resolve this, but I will give it a go sometime soon. I hope you can be patient with this issue. It should all work as expected tomorrow.
Coming here because I think there’s a link between today’s DST, the Advanced Scheduler app and the weird behaviour my Homey is showing as of since 23:00 today. Starting on 23:00 all my time-triggered-flows (through Advanced Scheduler) are triggering non-stop like crazy.
So in effect: Homey keeps on restarting (1st flow), the curtains opening up (2nd flow) and curtains closing (3rd flow). This is breaking the physical engine because it’s sending an opposite command every other second.
Only way for me to break this loop is to pull the plug on Homey. What is going on here?? How to fix it? Rebooting Homey doesn’t work…
Same thing tonight at 11.00 p.m. all devices related to Advanced Scheduler has gone crazy!!
Only one solution unplug Homey Pro. I will see tomorrow to reconnect it
Thanks for the suggestion, but there is too litte time to spare to upgrade to SDK3. You are most welcome to contribute if you know a little java. The code is available at Github.
Hello, will “advanced scheduler” still work on January 1st? I didn’t quite understand but homey is going to SDK 3 on January 1st? As I will not be at home on January 1 and 2 and 3, do I have to stop all my flows managed by “advanced scheduler” before leaving home? In advance Thanks for a quick reply
Your homey has been on SDKv3 for 2 year now.
So no, any already installed apps will not stop working.
From January 1st apps on SDKv2 will just not be installable from the app store, but they will not stop working on your Homey.
@Arie_J_Godschalk I know your portfolio is pretty full already, however this might be your cup of tea maybe ? Just asking, as this app is quite unique in terms of functionality…
