Where is the support for Nexa Z-wave devices?
Please add support for Nexa Z-Wave such as ZV-9109 built in dimmer.
Hi, can someone answer the question of Zwave will be supported in near future? If so, please add the ZSD-109 to this list. Thanks!
Iâm using Animus Heart today and thinking about switching to Athom Homey, but I canât find anything about Nexa WMR-1000 working on Homey. Does anyone know if it does, or if it is possible to trick it so it would work?
If anyone is wondering, yes, the Nexa MIMST-1703 can be used with Homey Pro .
I used the Nexa app and registered it as LMDT-609.
In flow, I used zones as respectively activated and deactivated with a delay of 300 seconds. I didnât make any changes inside the sensors, but in the advanced setting, I entered a forced stop after one minute.
Have been using NEXA swiches long time and only now realized essential change on offline behaviour:
- till JUL 4th my homeyPro booted router (10s downtime) when internet was lost for say 10min.
- suddenly on 4th router did not recoverâŚ
Till today I tought it was failed NEXA switch, but when finally introduced new one realized that NEXA App working only when internet is onâŚ
Seems that one more essential control needs to be move away from NEXA app soonestâŚ
Others have noticed the same?
Unfortunately, you provide only a few information to find a possible problem.
What hardware are you using?
Which Homey firmware is installed?
Which Nexa app version are you using?
Which additional app do you use to determine that the internet connection has been interrupted?
What does the flow look like?
What has changed since 04.07.?
Even though I donât use any Nexa devices myself, but because the Nexa devices are connected directly to the Homey via 433 MHz, they donât need an internet connection.
Maybe you are using another app in this flow that requires an internet connection?
I hope this helps
- Internet was OFF wo power (unplucked) vs. was ON and connected with power and line up
- Homey pro 2023
- latest NEXA (auto update, cannot see version while writing but should be last one)
- Simple flow cards
- same issue with manual control
- Now also adding new NEXA device did not work when internet offlineâŚ
Before 4.6. All above was OK also offline⌠nothing was changed in between (except assuming app autoupdates)
Has been using 433MHz on somedelay OK activity to separate from user related automation (lights / zigbee) to avoid cross-issuesâŚ
Some questions you havenât answered yet:
Is itâŚ
âŚor?
Maybe this information are irrelevant for you, but essential for finding the problem.
Just for your information, which you probably could find out for yourself.
The last update of the Nexa app was on August 5, 2024:
Therefore, the app can usually be ignored as a source of the problem
On July 03 or 04, 2024 the firmware version v11.1.2 for the HP23 was released:
Because you mentioned 2 dates, itâs not clear if the firmware update could be the cause of the problem. However, the changelog doesnât mention any changes regarding 433 MHz and cloud services. But this is definitely no guarantee that Athom didnât changed anything regarding 433 MHz and cloud services. Nevertheless, I think that the firmware can also be excluded as the source of the problem. Especially because several new firmware versions have already been released since then.
Have you ever restarted the Nexa app?
Have you ever restarted the HP23?
Have you checked if the HP23 is getting too little voltage?

Btw, I still believe that the Nexa app and the devices donât need an internet connection. So there must be a different problem.
Have you recognized this support article?
@Dijker or @Peter_Kawa, as far as I know, youâre familiar with 433 MHz devices, maybe also with the Nexa app. So maybe you can answer the question: Does the Nexa app and/or the 433 MHz devices on a Homey Pro needs an internet connection?
I have not checked the code of the Nexa app but as it is almost identical to the kaku app and there is no need to use internet for RF433 MHz I dont see any reason for these apps to use internet.
Agree with Geurt. KaKu app doesnât even need a (W)LAN network.
Also it doesnât have a (online) login procedure and such, like cloud dependent apps.
I also bump this. The zsd-109 z-wave should be addedâŚ
@RikB6 and @Kallemann, this is a more or less user-only forum and Athom employees are generally not active here.
Also, Athomâs Nexa app only supports devices with a radio frequency of 433 MHz and not Z-Wave devices.
There is another Nexa app for Z-Wave devices available in the App Store and you can submit a device request on GitHub:

Or you can make an official request for Nexa Z-Wave devices here:

Not sure what has happend since last winter, but I use an old doorbell Button to start preheating the car. When tried it today, it Does not register that i push it any more.
Tried to readd it but it wont add as a New unit. Homey just doestn register it.
I tried adding it to my Telldus unit and it adds and register the push of the button without any issues. So it isnt any issues with the doorbell itself.
To further investigate this, i tried to add my generic remote control and that one wont add aswell.
looking at the releaselog it seems that the app has only had one release since last winter, so could it be that some underlying firmware has changed that breaks the app?
Nexa WTH-103 Thermometer/hygrometer :
Does anyone know if this thermometer works with Homey Pro? 433,92 MHz
https://nexa.se/nexa-bridge-x/wth-103
(without any Nexa bridge)
I would also like support for the FS-558RF smoke alarm. I did mistakenly think that as it was a 433Mhz device it would work.
Actually, the NEXA FS-558/RF should work with Homey as it is one of the recommended smoke alarms listed in Athoms Best Buy Guide.
So surely someone has it working.
If you install the Nexa official App and then add a device, select smoke alarm, it takes you through the pairing process.
I now have these devices working on HP23 using the official Nexa App.
