Continuing the discussion from [APP] Lutron Caséta - Complete control:

Has anyone else experienced this? After the 1.9.0 Lutron app update, all of the moods that I used to trigger via Pico controllers (I use 4 different types) started to fail - they’d trigger certain lights included in the mood, but only the lights that A) weren’t Lutron Caseta lights or plug in switches, or B) only Lutron on/off plug in controllers.

I tested:

  1. Moods - they work with anything that is not a Lutron dimmable switch or plug-in controller
  2. Dim-to in an advanced flow - this still works. If the light was off, then it turns on and dims to the appropriate value

So it appears that the recent change to the dim settings in 1.9.0 to support dimming to the last used value when turning the light on from Homey has broken moods. I’ve logged a support email with drenso.nl, and got this response:

Thank you for your support request! We are tracking your request as ticket #107, and will respond as soon as we can.

Thought I’d drop this here for others that might be experiencing issues - chime in if you’re also seeing this broken behaviour with the new update to the Lutron app.

Looks like the issue was resolved with the latest update:

Version 1.9.1 — Fix Homey moods no longer working with light and fan devices

Verified - works fine again. Big thanks to the Drenso team for the quick resolution.
