Image and Video Features

  • Event Images: :person_walking:
    These images are automatically captured when a specific event occurs, for example, when motion or a person is detected by a camera.

  • Snapshot Images: :camera_flash:
    These are on-demand images that can be taken at any time.
    Since version 3.39.7, snapshots are no longer processed on an external server but are generated directly within Homey.
    To capture a snapshot, you need to create a Flow that uses the “Take Snapshot” flow card.

  • Livestream: :video_camera:
    Introduced by Athom in Homey Mobile App version 9.6.1, livestreaming allows real-time video viewing.
    Eufy cameras that support RTSP can provide a live video stream to Homey. To enable this feature, activate RTSP in the Eufy app.
