[APP][Cloud & Pro] SwitchBot (Release 2.0.76, Test 2.0.78)

Both in the next update. Just waiting for SwitchBot to fix the API for the Standing Fan.

Hi Adrian, we discussed about smart fan integration a few weeks ago. Raised a ticket to SwitchBot team and here is their answer : ´´´Hello,

Wishing you a wonderful day!

Thank you for your patience.

After checking with our R&D team, we have confirmed that the SwitchBot Standing Circulator Fan is already fully supported by the SwitchBot Open API, both for status requests and control commands.

The issue appears to come from the SwitchBot integration plugin for Homey Pro itself. At present, the SwitchBot plugin for Homey (which is maintained by the community or a third party) most likely does not yet recognize the “Standing Fan” device type, even though it supports older fan models.

As a result, the fan can be successfully added to your SwitchBot Hub Mini, but Homey Pro is currently unable to identify and add it correctly.

We recommend contacting the Homey community or the plugin developer to request support for the “Standing Fan” device type in a future plugin update.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding.

Wishing you an excellent day! ´´´

Well, I can’t say they are wrong, as it is supported but had a bug. I received a message from my contact this morning to say the fix is now live and I tested it and it now works. So when I get home I will publish the app.

New test version is in the store

It works thanks a lot for your great work and support. First feedback, about the light, low intensity and high intensity are inverted.

Typical, I waited for them to fix the bug and checked that the option didn’t flick back to the opposite state but forgot to check they hadn’t changed the values for each.

I will update the app tomorrow.

It’s working fine for the candle warmer light and the circulator fan. Thank you very much!

I have published a new test version that corrects the dim / bright setting and also adds a Flow action card to control it.

Hi, Switchbot released a rechargeable Switchbot bot switch BLE a while ago which looks the same as the previous version, but comes with a rechargeable battery; it can connect to Homey but cannot control it through Homey and only through the switchbot app; anyone facing similar issues?

Error: 2026-05-27T17:36:12.596Z !!! Parsed Bot BLE (f4:0a:0e:12:96:c1): No service data

Have you tried the HUB version of the driver?

that error points to Homey not being able to pick up the BLE signal very well. have you tried moving next to Homey to see if it works?

Hey- correct have tried BLE and HUB (don’t have the SwitchBot hub) and they both don’t work. Also next to the homey. Have a previous version SwitchBot that is not rechargeable and works well.

Could you install the test version, then open the app settings page and select the log page as show below:

and then come back to the log and hit Send lo

Try to control the device, then come back to the log and hit Send Log

Sure, done!

Unfortunately, the log doesn’t give any more clues. It just seems the Homey can’t get the service data or discover the services. I will ask my contact if there have been any changes to the BLE protocol for the new Bot.

Hi Adrian. Thank you for all your efforts with this app - as a serial SwitchBot user it has been integral to my Homey experience.

Are there currently any plans to support the RGBIC Neon Rope Light? I currently have it added to my Homey via Matter, but it loses connection weekly, so I would rather connect it via the SwitchBot Hub if possible. No worries if not, just thought I’d ask.

It should already be supported using the strip light driver.

If it’s not found can you send the Detected log from the app settings screen.

I use the Lock Pro with the Hub Mini and it have worked very well, until some weeks ago.

I often get this, both when I try to use the Homey app and when I use some flows. The strange thing is that I have a flow that locks all locks at 22.30, that have more or less never failed.

The rate limit messages come from SwitchBot. Do you have any other integrations using the API like Home Assistant?

To work around the problem, open the app settings page and set the Number of Homey’s connected to your SwitchBot account to 2.

I only use Homey, but I have all locks in two different Homey Pro’s.

I found the settings, hopefully that will work. Thanks!
