I have a Homey Pro (the 2023 version). This “token refresh failed” problem is affecting all SwitchBot devices connected to Homey Pro. However, using the SwitchBot app works fine and all other non-SwitchBot devices work fine through Homey Pro.

Could you open the app settings page, select the Log tab, change the setting to Basic Information and then clear the log. Next restart the app and give it 2 or 3 minutes to start and then go back to the log and send it. I will check to see if it gives any clues.

Actually, nevermind - I’m getting an error when trying to send the log. “my.homey.app says ‘Error: Network request failed’” when trying to send the log.

Hello again! This has spontaneously started working again. Maybe it was some sort of server problem on SwitchBot’s side? Regardless, we’re in the clear now!

I have 3 Switchbot Temperature Sensors with humidity and they work over the swichtbot mini hub. All 3 sensors show me the same battery level 60% on homey devices. The temperature and humidity looks good. In the switchbot app, the battery level is different.

What could be the problem?

Could you open the app settings page and select the Log tab, then set the log level to Basic Information. Wait for a few minutes to allow data from the sensor to be received and then send the log.

The log only has a report from one temperature sensor, but that’s showing 60% battery.
Could you run the log for longer, maybe clear it first, to allow the other sensors to report.

Hello. I am concerning a homey pro and was also looking at the switchbot blind tilt. To confirm you do not need a hub? I see two devices listed on the Homey App page but only one device on the Switchbot page so was a little confused to ensure I get the right thing.

The Homey app has two drivers for the Tilt, one connects directly via BLE and the other via a hub and the cloud. The Tilt device is the same for both.
Note, for the BLE connection you might have issues with the range.

Ah. Gotcha thanks. Also for whatever reason it just clicked that they are Bluetooth so that would need the Pro and I was looking at the mini.

I can confirm that the Blind tilt works without a hub over BLE. I have 4 of them in an average sized/build detached house where my Homey is in the centre
One thing to note is that when sending a message to them to move, it is sometimes a little unreliable. Particularly if it the first one for some time, the tilt will only move a little or not at all. So my morning flow sends the message once, then again after a short delay. I use a combination of it’s own internal timed move, a manually-triggered flow from a button and sometimes it’s app on the phone. There are also it’s light-level triggers if you want which work but I decided not to use. Can’t tell whether the non-move glitch is the Homey or the Tilt but I have learnt to live it. Move love if the App developer looked in to it

Thanks for the confirmation. So now the debate if I want to avoid a hub that means Homey Pro instead of the mini.

@Adrian_Rockall, probably I’m a bit fast, but saw the introduction of the Hub3 yesterday. Do you know whether this is going to be supported in the Homey Switchbot app? and if so, would it be able to program the buttons on the hub to start scenes in Homey?

Yes and no.
The current version has support for it, so if you find the app in the store, you can select the Hub 3 and see the supported Flow cards. That gives a rough idea of what is supported.

Question. I bought the switchbot lock ultra and connected to homey with matter. thru the switchbot hub 2 The problem is that i only can lock and open the door. But i would also want it to just unlock. Can your app do that? And does it support it support the switchbot ultra lock? In the switchbot app on the phone the smart lock ultra and the keypad vision is installed. But when going to devices in homey and going to switchbot lock(hub) it is saying: “No new devices found”. I can however connect it with matter with only the option open or lock the door. I would hope it can also unlock with the switchbot app on homey. So open, unlock and lock.

I have a SwitchBot Thermometer Hygrometer and was able to add it to Homey via the SwitchBot app as Meter Plus 45, but the other options don’t work.

It only doesn’t transmit the temperature and humidity.

I have a SwitchBot account and app, and I can see the data coming through there.

The device is placed next to the Homey and my phone, so the signal shouldn’t be the issue.

@Adrian_Rockall can you help out here, or someone else?

Did you add it with the BLE or Hub driver?
