[APP][Cloud & Pro] SwitchBot (Release 2.0.35, Test 2.0.49)

Hi @Adrian_Rockall, Not sure whether you had time for it (): were you able to find the cause of the Bluetooth freeze on the ESP32 BLE Hub / whether the updates to the NimBLE-Arduino library might fix these freezes?

I have updated the code to work with NimBLE 2.2.3.

Thanks! Will the builds also be updated on GitHub? They are still the prior version.

I will try to do that today.

The builds are now in GitHub.

Thanks for publishing them.

I tried both the OTA and the full flash version, but unfortunately this version broke something: I am getting an 404 Not Found error during some of the communication, resulting in Timeout-messages in Homey. I will send you a full log from the SwitchBot Homey app in a PM.

Hope you can fix that .

I have published a new test version that should hopefully fix the error 190 issues.

The new version work without errors. I will keep an eye out on the BLE freeze issue, but hope this is resolved. Thanks for helping out again! :+1:

I’m sorry if this have been asked before.

I have a SwitchBot Hub Mini, 2x Lock Pro and Keypad Touch at my home, connected to my Homey Pro E23. Now I want to add another SwitchBot Hub Mini, a Lock Pro and a Keypad Touch at my moms house.
I want to be able to connect it to my Homey, should I make a new home in the SwitchBot app or should just make a new room in ā€œmy homeā€ in the SwitchBot app?

Any issue with having two Hubs on different networks?

I haven’t tried the new Home feature, so I’m not sure how that will be picked up by the app.

That shouldn’t be a problem.

@Adrian_Rockall I guess that I will try a new home, if it doesn’t work I will just move it into my home.

@Adrian_Rockall I’m happy to report that you can make a new home in the SwitchBot app and still be able to access them in Homey.

Not sure if this is the correct place for this, but my wife woke up this morning to all SwitchBot devices attached to my 2023 Homey Pro returning ā€œtoken refresh failed.ā€ I am trying to diagnose remotely, but no luck. Is there a way I can fix this that isn’t just restarting the SwitchBot app/Homey, which I’ve already tried?

Have you tried using the repair option to fetch a new token?
Although it could beca temporary server issue.

I’m sorry for my ignorance, but I don’t see a ā€œrepairā€ option anywhere in Homey. Can you be more explicit about where this is?

Open the device advanced settings and select Maintenance then Try to repair.

Tried this on one of the devices and it didn’t fix anything. How would I check if this is a server issue or an issue on my end?

Do you have a Homey Pro or is it Homey (cloud)?
