[APP][Cloud & Pro] Somfy Tahoma & Connexoon (v4.0.37, test v4.0.75)

OK
strange
Then i have to look
because the Motors have they’re own names like J4 io and so on
I have seen this list but i did not know what to do with it lmao

Mike

As the app uses the API to talk to Tahoma / Connexoon, the actual motor name must get disguised. It’s possible the same motor is used in more than one ‘controllable’ type but is specialised by the system to have a specific roll, like an exterior or interior blind, etc.
Many of the controllable types are grouped together in the app as they have the same functionality.

I have had a peek and found the items, which are “io:IORemoteController”. These have no commands but do report a state. So I can add them as view only devices that report the state and trigger flows but you won’t be able to use the app to send a button press. Hopefully that is what you expect?

Hi Adrian,

Am I correct: If I push the button it only can trigger a flow. But notting more. That’s fine with me. Now I programmed also a scenario (flow), when pushed and is a single wat of operation.

Thanks an happy holidays

ok then it will be a suprise when i inculde it lol
will be interesting at about 25 devices
well … Customer pays it … thnxs

If they are not detected then send me the device log and I will add them in.

Correct. There is a test version in the store now. I know the smoke detectors work as I bought those a last week and had already added them. I have added the remote and tested that they can be added and the flow triggers are there. However I can’t test if they actually work as I haven’t’ got around to implementing that part of a simulator yet.
Let me know how it goes.

Superb!! Do a need to install an other app? After x-mas I’ll start with testing.

To install the test version just add test to the end of the URL. There is a link at the end of the first post.

@Adrian_Rockall

Just want to say… You are a hero!

Always present and eager to solve an issue.

Thank you!

Just updated to 2.1.34. I was able to add the smoke detectors and the remotes. I Made a simple flow but it doesn’t respond. In somfy the original flow is still programmed. In the somfy webapp I can only program the up (1) and down (2) switch. The stop position can’t be used

Can you enable the information log, then press a button on the remote and see if it is recorded. Remember, it can take up to 30 seconds to be detected due to Somfy’s restrictions.
Also make sure that polling is enabled and set to 30 seconds.
The other check is to view the setting in the device to see if it changes after pressing a button on the remote.

Hi Adrian,

Just ran some extra test: Somfy normal light routine and created a additional flow in Homey.

Somfy reacts normal and direct. Homey doesn’t respond at all. Then I held the button activated. Homey gone wild. And once the flow was triggered. Afterward the flow was disabled for being triggered to much.

So I believe the 30 sec is the main problem and since its not a permanent state I don’t think it’s gonna work.

How does that work with doorcontact? Wat I mean is if you open the door and close it within the 30 sec or the update by Somfy. Will it be detected? Reason for asking is, I have still some not install contacts and want the use it as a sort of alarm.

I don’t like the 30 second polling time but that is all we are allowed. Hopefully Somfy will come up with something in the future to improve this.
However, the polling is fetching notifications of events that have occurred since the last request and not the current state. So in theory if you press the button it should be detected but might take up to 30 seconds. That is how it works with the door sensors at least. So I can open and close the door for say 5 seconds and on the next polling time it will pick up the notifications of it first opening and then closing. I presume that would be the same for the button, but maybe not. However, the fact that the flow was triggered many times suggests it has happened.
Unfortunately, I can’t seem to purchase one of these remotes in the UK as we only seem to have the RTS version that only connects to the RTS motors.

Great app, works fine with my io shields.

Also I have a smart smoke detecteren but he wont see it.
TAHOMA_DETECTEUR_FUMEE1

They should be supported in the test version (2.1.34)

Ahh oke. I hope I get it soon then.
Thanks for you’re reply

You can get it now from https://homey.app/a/com.somfy.tahoma/test/

Thanks :innocent:

Now it works.

i have also some Eltako Enocean Actuators connected to my Tahoma. Is it possible to add them to the app?
Greetings from Germany =)
