I’m considering buying a Somfy Eolis io wireless windsensor to automaticly close my sunscreen, does it work with the app to ? IE: can I read windspeeds and use it in Homey ?

Im having problems adding my new exterior window blinds. They work fine in the Tahoma app, but can not be added to Homey. I have sent you the device log. I suspect my new blinds are not supported?

From the log it seems you have 2 “Awning / Pergola (io)” and 1 “Exterior blind (io)”
If you let me know what language you are using I can give those names in that language.

I was just curious, gonna buy the Eolis io wireless windsensor anyhow.
It looks like the device is a compound unit as it has the #1 and #2 on the end. Could you send me the Device log so I can run it through my simulator.
I don’t have a driver for a wind sensor, but if you can add it to Tahoma and then send the Device log I will try to support it.

…sounds like it can’t be added to the Tahoma or Connexoon, so it can’t be added to homey either ?

Correct, the Homey app can only use devices that are visible in Tahoma.

Sorry for the delay, but I couldn’t see why it was not working to start with and had to keep going back to it.
I think the issue is caused by the # number at the end of the URL. For other devices that would be #1 and #2, etc for other capabilities where one physical device appears as two different devices in the API.
For you combined light and temperature sensor (I presume one device appearing as two), it is using #3 and #6. That is causing my code to throw an error when it tries to get the #2 variant that it believes should follow.
I will try to find a solution and post a new test version today.
New test version is in the store. I can’t test if the solution works so let me know how it goes.
Correct, it’s one device appearing as two. I just tried the test version and both temp and sun data are now appearing in Homey! Thank you very much. And big bravo for the great job with this app. It’s amazing. Let me know if there is anything else to do on my side

I’ve got a mail from Somfy saying my Connexoon app is gonna be terminated in november and I must change to the new Tahoma app. I sit still gonna keep on working with Homey?
I can’t say for sure, but I would think it will still be fine.
Hey everyone, I’m having some trouble with the app in combination with the “variable” function in Homey. My Advanced Flow worked like this: when I come home and the position is less than 10%, the blinds should open to 25%. But now the variable “position” only shows 1 or 0, whereas before it showed a percentage. Has anyone else noticed this? Will it be fixed, or is there another way to make my Advanced Flow work like it used to?
Hello Adrian! First of all, thank you for your great work here! I have quite a few Somfy RTS blinds and they work fine, connected via a Tahoma classic. In addition, I have two io devices. For one, a blind, I get a position status. For the other, a Dexxo Smart 1000 io, I only get the position status in the Somfy Tahoma app but not in Homey. So the information is sent from the Dexxo product but somehow Homey can’t use it. The outside blind (io) offers following options as a status display in Homey: Jalousie-Status (up), Position (0%), closing Status, none. For the Dexxo Smart 1000 io that is recognized as a garage door io with position, I only have the status options Jalousie-Status and none. The Jalousie-Status up or down would be enough for me but nothing is displayed. Not sure what is wrong. I would like to use the information to control a light in the house, notifying my family that the garage is open. Do you have an idea how to get the information? Thank you!
Yes, exactly. When you check your logic card, you can only set it between 0 and 1. If that’s not the case, I’d like to know because that’s what’s causing the issue in my flow.
