[APP] Aqara & Xiaomi Smart Home - Simplify your life with a smarter home

HP19, all new batteries, only 2 other zigbee devices in the network (hue plugs).
Have four more Aqara temp sensors T1 and all of them does not get any values (not added at the moment).
But I do have a few other “old” Aqara sensors that works like a charm. So I guess I have to throw away the new ones and add the old ones again.

And I don’t buy for a second that this has anything to do with my zigbee network.
A shitty implementation on Homeys end I believe, or a bad product. My bet is on a shitty Homey implementation.

Not sure, haven’t seen here many complains like yours. Just by any chance, you have latest Homey firmware and went through ZigBee network reset, so you don’t have general ZigBee network keys, right? Also how your ZigBee mesh looks like when you loose those sensors?

Thanks for providing the reports, including the firmware versions as requested.

The temperature sensors and flood sensor were added max 20 minutes before the diagnostics report was submitted. Where the flood sensor already reported the battery level. In some cases, the temperature sensors might take a bit longer before sending the first data.

What happens when you press the button on the temperature sensors?
If that does not result in an updated temperature value, the sensor might be out of reach / cannot communicate with Homey.

Hi,

Are you sure you looked at the correct flood sensor? Because one does report values and the other does not, both T1. All of my temp & humidity T1 sensors does not report any values, I just added two more T1 temp sensors (same firmware) and I have the same issue with these.
When I press the button on the sensor it blinks but no values is updated in Homey.
But when I disconnected the Hue Plug that acted as a router and then pressed the blue button again I can see that they route over another Hue plug instead, but still no values.
So they are apparently connected to the Zigbee network, just not getting any values out of them.

Hey,

Trying to connect the Aqara Single Switch T1 (With Neutral) to the Homey Pro 2023. I’ve succesfully done this in the past (around september 2023). They are still functioning as expected.

Currently it says it’s connecting but after a short period of 15-20 seconds it stops and says an error is occurred. I’ve tried restarting Homey, the Aqara App and neither works.

Diagnostics report: 320cb9e4-d81d-438e-a851-f003ded78ae4

Took some days to monitor if it actually worked and it did. Thanks!

YW. It’s not a permanent fix though.

10 posts were split to a new topic: [Matter] Aqara Matter bridges

therefore I move it out of here as this isn’t the topic to discuss this.

The actual problem is: I only use the Homey app on my iOS device, and there I get the message: Something went wrong, try again. And the same thing happens over and over no matter what I do.
I have one more problem that my flows do not work with Aqara thermostat/valves, all my flows with other devices in Homey work fine.
Just want to add that it is the Homey app that crashes in iOS

After the latest update, my Thermostat E1 stopped working as expected. I can no longer adjust the temperature through the app, although any temperature changes made directly on the thermostat do reflect correctly in the app. Additionally, clicking the calibration option in the app has no effect on the thermostat itself.

After Aqara update, or Homey ?

I come from the Aqara system, and the Tuya system, which is terribly unstable and unusable.

I assumed Homey was a good and stable system and have invested in a Pro and Bridge, however I have been quite disappointed and it is not a notch better than the junk I have left.

Aqara or Homey’s problem, I have no idea.

I would like to come back to my request. Will it be possible to add this to Homey Pro 2019 in the near future?

THX 4 Feedback

Since the lock uses Matter that won’t be possible.

It’s more likely after Aquara update to 1.11.2, as I’m still on Homey v12.1.2

Does that mean that no device that uses Matter can be programmed for the “old ball”?

Correct, because the “old ball” doesn’t have the necessary hardware.

Matter is more than just Thread, I don’t see why the old Homey couldn’t support Matter over WiFi.

Okay!? Are you user?

If you mean “are you using it like that”, then obviously no, because Athom hasn’t implemented Matter for the old Homey’s. But like I said, that isn’t a hardware issue.
