I do not seem to get the ALEXA app working on the Homey Self Hosted Server…
Anyone have that running ? It works like a charm on homey pro, but not on the SHS, also noit when I disable it on the pro…
Well….
I resetup all my flows, all my apps and all my devices…. Unfortunately the Alexa app refuses to function which I do not understand….
this is a big block for me… so I will wait to see if some kind of update fixes something.
I had issue with the Amazon Echo app when doing it from mobile but it seem I was able to do it when connected via web. I stop using the Alexa app a while back as it had stop working.
if you have not tried via web give it a go
How do you mean “via the web” ? I am not aware of any other way to connect an Alexa device then adding it via the homey app.
Checked the forum… the Alexa skill is having issues, so most probably nothing to do with SHS ..
Oh I miss understood you meant the skill not the Alex homey app.
they skill has been working off and on for me. But I been thinking of ditching Alexa
I have added all my devices to Alexa via the homey skill. Then I only use Alexa to talk for me if homey wants to (“the oven is ready preheating”, “the dishwasher is ready”, that kind of stuff).
