I have tried to add my Hue bridge pro just purchased into my homey pro 2026 just purchased through the hue philips athom 7.3.9.
Adding button device, it keeps saying device not found. It does not matter if I connect the hue through wifi or ethernet.
What am I doing wrong?
Were you succesful in adding the hue bridge into Homey?
If you added the bridge into Homey succesfully, you can than add devices connected to Philips Hue bridge. Since all is brand new, you’ll have to add devices to the Hue bridge first. When devices are connected with the Hue bridge, you should be able to add them to Homey (second step).
Unfortunately no. I get to the push button on bridge and then it jumps to device not found. Reinstalled the app etc also.
On the hue bridge pro I have all lights added. I tried to add the lights to ”hue without bridge” app but with limited matter functionality and that worked but I want access to the bridge pro options in homey also by going through the bridge instead.
I have managed to add a lot of other various smart devices to Homey but philips hue bridge pro? No, it won’t work.
I’d suggest to report it in the main app topic.
There are several spread topics about hue bridge pro ranging different issues and different solutions from not yet supported (September last year to restart Homey and “leave it alone for some time”)
The main app topic is followed by the developer and other users, which increases the chance of proper feedback.
Thanks I will do. I did read that thread but since that beta was in September and it is now April and several revisions later I was under the wrongful assumption this was fixed since long.
