I’m trying to grip the concept of having a second hub and still be able to use Homey as main controller if possible.
So my thought:
Would it be possible to add and steer Moes and Tuya devices via Homey Pro by adding a “MOES New Multi-mode Smart Gateway ZigBee Hub” to my setup?
Yes, that’s possible. You can only add Tuya Zigbee and Bluetooth devices to the gateway though. Connect all your Tuya Zigbee and Bluetooth devices to it using the Tuya or Smart Life mobile app, and then add it to Homey via this app:
Sorry but, I’ve managed to declare a PIR Sonof snz detector 5mn ago via the Moess App.
The main issue is that, so far, I haven’t been able to add directly the MOES mhub-w-q to Homey…
Like Tuya hubs/bridges, you probably don’t have to / cannot add the bridge itself to Homey?
So in theory when you’ve added a new Moes device to that bridge, it then should be add-able to Homey as device.
Have you tried adding it as a Unknown device in the Tuya the app?
Yep, the QR code in return isnt recognized…
It would be really convenient to link this hub for situations like we have here, tho : 2 separated buildings linked with the same wifi network, so the hub extends the ZigBee network via the wifi
Note that you need to scan the QR with the built in QR scanner inside the Tuya app. So do NOT use a regular QR scanner! Go to the Me tab and click the QR icon in the top right corner
Hi,
Wierd but usual : I ve uninstalled the tuya homey app, reinstalled it, went through the install process once again using the unidentified matter device with a new QR code… and it worked…
Thanks for your help, Sven.
I gonna pair the sonoff zigbee detector tonight via the hub. This should properly help this time
Best Regards,
Cedrick.
Finally got some time to play around with my Moes hub…
Install & config went just fine and I could connect my 4 button Moes remote w/o any problem.
But when I try to add the remote to Homey there are no cards for any button press or similar.
Am I missing something as I’m only seeing following cards??
Re-connected the remote few times with same result…
Can you select Status [code] gets a new Boolean value and check which codes appear in that list?
Empty “Code” box and error:

Scan this QR code with the Tuya mobile app (+ → Scan QR code)
You will get a virtual 4-gang switch. Now, go to Smart tab in the Tuya mobile app and create automations for each of the 4 buttons to turn on 1 of the 4 switches on this virtual device. You can then add the virtual switch to Homey as a “plug” device and then you can create Flows to perform an action and turn off the virtual switch.
Thanks for patience and guides but this seems to be going towards “double management”, You do this in one app and and then that in another app and sadly thats total opposite of why I bought Homey… So this journey end here for me.
And this Moes hub will end up on my pile of “why did buy this” stuff at least for now..
Again TY for helping!!
