Tydom Local - Control your Delta Dore devices locally

Hi everyone,

I’m currently working on a Homey Pro app called Tydom Local for Delta Dore Tydom installations.

I’m not a developer myself, so the app has been developed with extensive help from ChatGPT. My role has mainly been to define what the app should do, test it on real hardware, validate device behavior, report issues, and progressively improve compatibility.

The goal of Tydom Local is to communicate locally with the Tydom gateway and make more Delta Dore / X3D devices available in Homey.

The app currently works with K•LINE DVI opening sensors, including:

  • standard windows
  • tilt-and-turn windows
  • doors

Their states are available in Homey and can also be used in Flows.

I’m also working on support for other Tydom / X3D device families such as:

  • roller shutters
  • awnings / BSO
  • plugs / relays
  • alarm / Tyxal+

Heating/thermostats and lighting are not the current focus because these device families are already supported by another Delta Dore Tydom community app.

At the moment, the app has mainly been tested with a Tydom 1.0. I’m therefore especially interested in finding users with:

  • Tydom Home
  • K•LINE DVI sensors
  • Delta Dore X3D shutters
  • X3D plugs or relays
  • awnings / BSO
  • Tyxal+ alarm equipment

Tydom Local | Homey

The app is designed so that, after setup, normal day-to-day communication takes place locally between Homey Pro and the Tydom gateway.

If you decide to test it, please reply with:

  • your Tydom gateway model
  • the Delta Dore / K•LINE devices you have
  • whether pairing works
  • whether states update correctly
  • whether commands work, when applicable
  • whether the Flow cards work correctly

If a device is missing or not detected correctly, the app also includes a beta tester report that can help identify the Tydom device profile and the properties it exposes. The report is designed not to include your Delta Dore account password, local Tydom password, gateway IP address or gateway MAC address.

This is a community-driven project, with development heavily assisted by ChatGPT and validation carried out on real Tydom hardware.
